I am still pre-op. I meet with the surgeon in June. The office coordinator told me that EHP can be a pain to get approval. Anyone else have experience with them? I can't afford self pay so its approval from insurance or no go. Trying to stay positive but also not trying to get over excited. Any advice would be appreciated.

Down exactly one pound this week. Not as much as I had hoped, but going in the right direction at least! It's unlikely that I will hit my goal for this challenge, but oh well. Going to keep keeping on! Current weight- 192.2

I'm up 2.6 this week. >_< I have to admit I was not great with eating and exercising last week. Just gotta get my head back into the game so I can finally get into the 180's! Current weight- 193.2

Good morning and Happy Easter! I am up a bit today. I am sure the wedding I went to yesterday and all the wine I drank is the culprit! But I had a great time. :-). At least I surpassed my original goal, but didn't get to the second goal. Current weight- 192

Good morning! Thanks to a horrible stomach bug, I am down 4.6 lbs this week. Not really the best way to lose weight, but it happens. So I have passed my goal and would like to adjust it. Today's weight- 192.8 New challenge goal- 188

So, I am just over 5 weeks post op and after reading through some posts on here I am starting to think maybe I am eating too much. I know that my surgeon uses a 40 french bougie, which is on the larger side from what I have read and I am ok with that. I don't need the smallest stomach ever, just much more restriction than I had before. I am losing weight slowly, but I started with a "low" BMI (35.8 )so I expected that. At this point I am eating around 900-1000 calories a day. I was eating more like 700 a couple weeks ago and hit a stall and thought maybe I wasn't eating enough. That is when I decided to try to up my calorie intake. My stall did break, whether from changing my calorie intake or just my body needed some time, I don't know. I have read about people 2-3 months out eating 600 calories a day and that seems crazy to me now that I am on soft foods. I have noticed more head hunger coming back and my desire to eat, but I still eat small meals and only 1-2 snacks per day. Neither my NUT nor my surgeon ever really talked about calorie intake, just about fluids and protein. I have no problem getting my protein (usually get 80+ daily) and no problem getting in my liquids. I am really limiting my carbs and almost eating something similar to adkins so that I get my protein with a few veggies here and there. I have my 6 week follow up with my surgeon and plan to discuss it more with her, but until then I thought I would see what my fellow sleevers are doing.

Today's weight- 199 Goal weight- 194 I have been in a stall battling between 199 and 200. So ready to just stay in ONEderland for good! Good luck everyone!

Completely forgot to weigh myself this morning! I will do it tomorrow and figure out my goal weight then!

Well, I weighed exactly 200 this morning. >_< It's like my body doesn't want to go under 200 lbs. it's just not used to having that 1 come first! But I had at least one day that I saw 199 on the scale, so I know it's possible. Just gotta keep working!

Very light headed- is this normal?

I was light headed for the first few weeks. Not all the time, but every time I stood up I would get fuzzy for a second and then go back to normal. I was getting my fluids and eating about 500-700 calories a day for the most part. I am not really sure what caused it really. It took a good 6 weeks before it stopped happening every time I stood. Now it rarely happens. Maybe just because of the drastic change in fluid/food intake. -
Well, maybe I jumped the gun a bit on my ONEderland announcement. >_<. Still down 2 lbs since last weeks weigh in, but up a bit from Friday morning. I blame the goodies at the baby shower I went to yesterday! Today's weight- 200.2

I know it's not weigh in day yet, but I am so excited about what I saw on the scale this morning! I reached my goal of ONEderland!! So excited to finally break 200lbs. Just hope it keeps going in this direction! :-)

Good morning! Only down .4 this week, but I also used a different scale because I am out of town visiting family. Really hoping to breaking into ONEderland next weigh in! Today's weight- 202.2

I like the idea of a continuing weigh in day. Not that I can't remember when to weigh in, but just like to keep it simple. If I were to pick a day, I would say Friday. It's nice to weigh in before the weekend!

Not a great weigh in this morning. I wasn't expecting greatness though with how I have been eating. Did meet my goal, but will def pass I to ONEderland with the next one! Today's weight- 203.4
