The post Suzie just made reminded me of something that happened once when I was at the grocery store. I was 3rd in line. The lady right in front of me had a couple of little kids with her. The lady looked to be in her early thirties, plain looking, tired (with 2 little kids its understandable). She had about 10 things in her basket of necessity items...I really remember this vividly...milk, bread, eggs, lunch meat, oranges, hamburger meat, noodles and ragu sauce, toilet paper, and maybe another thing or 2. No frills, just basics. The lady in front of her looked to be in her 50s. Nicely dressed, business like, ya know? When she had done paying the clerk she just stood there and looked at the woman behind her, looked at the kids, looked at the basket and she just kind of stood there and I thought, why isnt she leaving???...she moved up just far enough for the woman to have her things rang up by the cashier and then when the cashier said how much the total was the older lady said "would you please do me the honor of letting me pay for your groceries today?" The younger woman said oh no, no you really do not need to do that, I am OK. The older lady said "you don't understand, I do not mean in any way to offend you or imply that you can not afford this stuff yourself but I woke up this morning and decided that I was going to do something nice today for a stranger. I am doing this more for myself than you....please, please let me do this. She did and right at that moment, my world stood still....i heard nothing else but their conversation, heard the kindness, saw the generosity and I almost passed out. That one single moment in that grocery store changed me....forever. After they walked away, the store clerk and I just stood there staring at one another dumbfounded, both thinking the same thing....there are still wonderful, caring people in this world.

Kat...her (macys) right side. Macy (probably) has a kidney infection and maybe even a stone. Macy said "Dr Molly, I have never eaten any rocks before!" lol The good thing is that we think I got her to the dr early enough to catch it before it got out of hand....at least I hope that is the case. Anyway...they took blood (poor baby) and urine and then took x-rays. We got some antibiotics. Thanks God for insurance otherwise it would have cost me 400.00. My insurance paid all but 85.00 and the dr gave me a forty dollar coupon so it ended up being 45.00. But four hundred dollars...that is insane! Anyhow, the dr said if Monday she is still in pain, bring her back in the office. If she starts running fever, vomiting or if the pain gets worse, to call and let her know ASAP. The dr also told me to go to the hardware store and get some paint strainers so I can strain her urine to see if any debris comes out while she is urinating. Please please PLEASE say a prayer for Macy. She was hurting so badly that she was in tears earlier. :crying:

Good morning... I need to bring Macy to the dr this morning. I could hardly sleep last night because she was complaining about her side hurting. She is ooohing and owwing every few seconds. I am hoping that maybe she just has a bruised rib or something. Cross your fingers for us. btw...thanks for the kind words ladies :crying:

I have taken them before and swore I never would again. Jacked my head up BIG time! Now pills like Xanax for Librium or Tranxene, yes, because they are for temporary nerve problems...recreational, if you will, Bad thing about any of those is they make me gain weight too! They sure help wth sleep though! In general I am not a depressed person. I am down on myself about my weight gain and about certain situations that are FIXABLE in my life. There are things that need to be done and things that need to be addressed/fixed in order for me to fix ME...I know what needs to be done. I am just working on a plan of action in my head and am taking steps in the right direction. Bear with me... :tt2:

Hi everyone  I am here, physically, definitely not mentally. Thanks for the texts, calls & e-mails. It has been one b-day party or get together after another...it has been raining cookies, cake, bbq and ice cream around me for the past few weeks. I am up 7 pounds and I am pretty much in this kind of mood  so I figured why bring everyone down with me? OH..and the dermatologist appt I have waited on for 3 weeks had to get cancelled the other day because my dsd dr appt took too long and I had to reschedule my appt...for Aug 19th!!! I could bore you all with a laundry list of other crapola I am dealing with BUT I won't because I know alot of people have it alot worse than me so I will just stop right here. lol Terry~thank you for the invitation and if I thought I could make it through lunch without boohoo'ing I would but at this point, I can't...but we will soon, ok? Thanks you ladies

Hi there~ Tomorrow we are going to have a bbq at my sisters house. My youngest nephew is going into the marine corps and he leaves Sunday. I also have a neice (and her baby)that are moving to South Carolina next week because her husband is in the marine corp and she is going to be with him. I am going to miss all of them but I guess letting go is part of life. It is easy to take because I know it is the best move for all of them. Have a great weekend everyone. Tracy ((hugs)) Jenn-I hope you had/are having fun!

Good morning everyone~' The bad news...I ate a half gallon of ice cream in 2 days. The good news...it is gone and I am not going to the grocery store for more. I dunno, I guess I figured I wasn't going to make this months goal so I may as well Fu*k it up REAL good...what kind of thinking is THAT? (fat girl thinking) With that being said, I am getting off here and headed to the gym. (((hugs)))

Yeah, I have tried all the home remedies too. Neosporin, camphor, fingernail polish remover, hand sanitizer, ice packs, and the one that has worked BEST so far is calamine lotion. Just when it is gone, within a day or 2 max, they are back...in the same place or a different place...but not ON my mouth thank God. It is the pitts! Pamela-who is your fav or non fav on BB so far? My NON is Chima...ugh!
-
Thanks Jane, I am just way down on myself. :bored:

Hurt? Not really...itchy mainly and not to mention gross looking. They are just like fever blisters/cold sores. But the herpes meds do not work so I do not know what it is. I will be glad to get to the dermatologist!

Oh, and I have a dermatologist appt on the 28th because the blisters under my nose (and now under my mouth) come and go...they never just GO.
