Good morning everyone~ Kat-I heard from Macys teacher that I should be getting a permission slip to sign regarding her testing to be done. I am so ready to have it over so we know what we are dealing with! Did you get rid of the chocolate craving? Taquitos? YUM! Cindy-how are things with you? Jenn-those cords can be expensive...I hope you can find it! Today is going to be another ME day! dh is still working days and the girls are going to school. I am sure quickly readjusting to the 'old' me again. It is nice to be able to just jump up and go in the other room without being followed or having a baby to carry with me . I miss them though! Subject change...have you all tried the new chocolate cheerios? DON'T! They are fantastic  OK, I need to get off here and finish getting dd ready for school. Have a great day friends

Suzanne-way to go on the -6. That is GREAT!! Kat-I will keep Lee in my prayers as well as your dh job situation. Cindy-I am so sorry that you are going through this! You should not have to medicate yourself just to work. I can tell how much you enjoy what you do. I will say big prayers that he gets the help he needs and that you and your class gets through this quickly & safely. Keep us posted, k? Jenn-could you walk an extra mile or 2 for me? lol I wish my hip was in better shape. I sure miss my walks. I may just need to get Jillian in my head and walk through the pain. suzyt-If Gia leaves your home, will she be able to bring her kitten? I sure hope so! What a sweet thing for you to do! Everyone-I feel SO much better now that I do not babysit anymore...mentally & physically. I have been watching what I eat the past couple of days and feel like I am back on track. Please pray for me ok? I really need prayers to keep my head back in the game and I will not be able to do it without HIS help. Have a fantastic day everyone!

Good morning friends~!! Michelle-what great pics! Thanks for sharing! I agree with Suzanne, Reggie is alot better than Monk. suzyt-a kitten for Gia...what a nice thing for the lady to do! There are good people in the world, right?! That is awesome! Glad she is settling in well Kat-I'll bet seeing Conner on a skateboard is the cutest thing ever! So he took to it well? That is great! Suzanne-I meant to tape the oscars & forgot  Glad to hear Sandra Bullock won. She is one of my favs (so is Meryl Streep tho, lol) Jenn-how wonderful that your mom did that! My mom would have too. Dont hurt yourself on that eliptical...it looks like an emergency room visit to me! LOL Everyone...we had the BEST time at the casino. I won and won and won but my dh did not win as much as me so the money I was winning kept us playing on their dime. I LOVE it when that happens. Today is my first day without the babies. I feel like a bird let out of a cage! lol The lady DID pay me, so that was GREAT! My dh brought me to Swarovsky and we bought the ring I have been wanting. It is SO pretty. Gaudy, but beautiful. I love a little bit gaudy! lol I will take a pic and put it on here. Have a great day ladies!

Good morning everyone! Michelle-congrats on the beautiful addition to your family!! I want a dog so bad but we are in a house with a no pets rule. :huh2: Suzie-i will continue to keep you in my prayers. I agree withg Kat...if the dr is willing to wait so long to address it, it must not be too serious, right?! I know that has to be a little comforting. (((hugs))) I can not remember everything I read so I do not mean to ignore anyone. Kat-I can not imagine not having some kind of organization at a child b-day party. I'll bet it was a ZOO with all the screamin' kids runnin' around on a sugar buzz. lol So it looks like I might get paid today after all. I asked if she was going to pay me and she said yes and then this morning she said she would cash her check before she picks up the kids. Today is more than likey my last day. Can I get an Amen?! I woke up in so much pain this morning from my lower back, right hip, all the way down the back of my right thigh to my knee. :w00t: I want to take a pain pill & muscle relaxer but it is too early in the day for a buzz, lol. I will take some tylenol first and see if that helps without bringing out the big guns. Tomorrow we are going to coushatta to spend the night and play a little. I was able to get a free room and we eat for free there AND they have a gas station that we can fill up our tank using our points. PLUS I am going to the gift shop and spend some comp points :smile2:. It is a win-win situation. What is everyone doing this weekend? Have a great day!!

Hi SuzyT. You are a foster parent? I didn't know that. How have your experiences been so far or is this your first? Jenn-i will call you. If the school doesn't test her soon I know I will just go have it done somewhere. Patience is NOT my middle name....but you prob know that about me. LOL

Funny you say that. Macy excels in math & science (so far anyways, lol) Thanks for the advice. I need to find out where they do independent testing. I will check over at San Jacinto College. It is sad that Louisiana brushes these problems under the rug. Thank you so much for the advice! Kat-thank you too...

 Hi again!! Here are a couple of examples...with numbers they are turned around the wrong way AND when she is writing 21, 22, 23, 24 she writes them like this 12, 22, 32, 42. And yesterday when she was reading a book she saw the word 'floor' but the word was actually 'roof'. When her teacher asked her what the word started with she said F. She writes almost all of her letters backwards as well...mainly when they are lower case. Lots of trouble with b and d and g and j. Knowing all of this it made my OTHER decision valid, and that was to give 2 week notice to the woman I babysit for. I am going to miss them so much and the mom is upset with me, but I figured she would be. I still want to remain friends with her but I dont know how hard she is taking it. I HAVE TO put me & my family first. Macy needs my attention. I was fussing at her daily and then I realized she has really had to adjust to sharing me with these other 2 kids and it is not fair to her. My relationship with my dh was suffering as well. We could not do the things we were used to doing. Then, to top it off, I have been in so much pain. Raising/keeping little kids is physically tiring. I have had to start taking pain pills just about daily and I do not want to do that anymore. I want to be able to refocus on me as well as my family. Macy needs me more now than ever. I am glad that I will be able to have my time with her again. Sorry for rambling...lol

 HiYa Jane!!! Glad you did a drive by post! Take care of yourself, ok? Love ya! Kat-I hear ya about not letting the fun pass me by. I'm not, it is just really not my 'thing'. I would rather go to thrift stores and old towns squares or take a small weekend getaway. That is my idea of fun instead of being in an overly crowded space with a bunch of screaming idiots. lol I'll buy the CD. NOW...if it were someone that I absolutely LOVE, I would do it but these are preformers that I like the music but not enough to buy a ticket (unless it were a small intimate setting, like with Tim McGraw, lol) Jenn-I think you have lost your weight the right way. I wish I would have done it that way too. Stay focused & strong....you will do it. Suzanne-i ate like a fool yesterday. But here lately that is an everyday thing for me. Today is a new day. I have never been to weight watchers...maybe I should try it. Cindy-it is refreshing to see someone as dedicated at their job as you are. Hang tough! I have an appointment today for a conference with Macys teacher. I hope she can give me some clarity about how macy is doing in her schoolwork. Have a great day everyone!

Good morning everyone! Kat-I am sorry you are missing Rick :cursing: When you & Michelle were posting I was in lullaby land. I remember when Frank would go offshore for work and would be gone for a week or two. I missed him so much! Michelle-what kind & size bed did you get? Are you loving it? Cindy-hang in there. You have a good heart. Just keep trying and remember that you can only do so much. I will say special prayers for you. The little boy is lucky to have you as a teacher. I pray that he sees how much you care and that you are genuine in wanting to have him in your class. Everyone-I think I will go to the rodeo but it will be mainly to the livestock show to see the animals. I do not really want to go to a concert. They will have a carnival & lots of other things. It lasts for a couple of weeks, so I have time. I would really like to watch all the weirdos, LOL. Poor people in Chile. I hope the tsunami warning will be called off. Have a great day everyone!!

Good morning everyone!! SO, what is everyone planning for the weekend? I am not really sure yet what we are going to do but I would like to do something outside. Even if it is throwing something on the grill and sitting in the sun. The Houston rodeo is in town and believe it or not, I have never been. People that live around here can not believe that i have never gone but I haven't. Guess I was just always too embarassed to go. Now I am at the age that I do not really care what they think. Growing older has its perks. :smile2: I want to go see shutter island too. Who knows. I think dsd is going to her moms this weekend. Macy will be home. I am glad because I want to spend some time with her since she was gone last weekend. Well, the baby just woke up so I better get off here. Have a great day everyone!!
