Good morning everyone!! Love the car Pamela!!! I am envious. We have a cold front coming in mid day...I can not wait. I plan to be outside when it blows through. I think its awesome to be outside when one comes through. Feeling the temp drop is fun to me. Am I just weird or what? But, living in SE Texas, cold fronts are a big deal! The high the next few days is the 60s. Woohooo! Terri-are you as excited as I am abut the weather? Judy...you are right, this will be your week to show a scale victory!! Tracy-I am SO happy for all of you! I second what Terri said....that was a great sacrifice he made and he did it because he knows it was the right thing to do. Congrats!! TGIF!!!!! We are having my dh kids over this weekend. Macy is so excited to see them again. Every three minutes she says "are they here yet?" We are going to a fall festival with them tomorrow. My dh is finally off on a weekend!! I am so psyched! The results of my 2nd blood test came back about the same as the other one so the dr called me in some cholesterol meds. I have to get retested in 2 months. Must be genetic. I hope everyone has a great evening and weekend

I just love ultrasound pics. They are so amazing to me. They tug at my heartstrings!! Kat-when can you expect the results of your tests? Good morning everyone!! The boss is away today, so I am a mouse today :eek: When I get to work I plan on reading all day!! I am still hanging around at 195 but the best part of that is I finally started my TOM so I am hoping for the best when "aunt flow" leaves! Since I was a few days late I will probably have her around about 2 weeks since my hormones are probably all jacked up over the weight loss. Everyone have a great wednesday!! Isn't burning 1800 calories alot? Explain what you did during the day please Terri...I guess I am just "dumb" as far as that stuff goes!!

Terri-wooohoooo for the scale moving!! I am SO excited for you. Its been a long wait for you! You GO girl! TracyKS-I am so relieved for you….I know you must be relieved! And SIZE 12??? OMG….you shake it mama!! That is SO cool! Jenn-glad to hear about your fill. Now you will be here in onederland in no time sista! Pamela-I am sure the observation went great! Congrats on having the self control to stay off the scales. I always end up peeking!! Kat-my BIL is treating my nephew fine so far…lets just hope it lasts!! Well my dr visit went just like I thought it would. They did the test over again. I get the results Thrusday. My dr seems to think it is genetic. He said keep up with the diet & exercise more and gave me a few tips and said that he wants me back in 4 months to recheck it and if it is still high he will put me on Lipitor or something. I have made a decision that I will stop smoking on Jan 1st. I know it is kind of a long time from now but I am gonna need the time to get mentally ready for it. For those of you that do not smoke, you probably don’t understand that, the ones that do smoke (or did) will understand completely. This is going to be a big mental thing for me…but I have to do it! I have smoked for my entire adult life. I do not remember life not smoking! I am not giving myself much choice in the matter though. ,I will do what I have to do. OK, that’s enough of my rambling…..everyone have a great evening!!!

Terri-my sis does the same thing. I only live about n hour and fifteen minutes from my family and I see my mom and one of my sis on a regular basis but my other sis and brother I only see maybe twice a year. I never thought my family would be that way. I am sorry about what you are going through and the e-mail to your neice is just what you needed to do. Maybe she may be able to give you some insight inot your sis. Some people can just be different.... My nephews' mental state can't be good. He feels he has nothing to live for. Right now he is just "here". I feel so bad for him. My sister is like jello. I do not know how she does it....well yes I do know. She has a very strong faith in God. But she told me the other day that she needed to have a good cry. She has not let her emotions out yet and she really needs to do that!! I am going to bring dd to school and then to my cp do talk about my blood work, then to work. Tracy and Kat are in my thoughts & prayers! Have a great day everyone!

Good morning all!!! Thanks for the sweet words about my mermaid...I am certainly treasuring every minute of her being this age...it is so much fun! I guess having her later in life I have learned to really appreciate these times! Kat, around here we have to worry about what the kids can wear so they won't overHEAT! Not cold here at all, so the skimpy mermaid outfit will be perfect for a SE Texas halloween night!! Haven't gotten my TOM yet...no chance of being preggos so I guess it is just the body change. Either way, i am staying away from the scales for a while because I feel so bloated! Everyone have a great Monday!

My dd has her halloween costume. She decided to be Aerial (the little mermaid). Cute, cute, cute. I will post pics when I have the patience. Someone please please please explain this one to me...I got the results of bloodwork from my yearly well woman check up. Could one of you fellow bandsters please explain how in the heck I have high cholesterol AND high triglycerides?? A total mystery to me...I was looking forward to getting my results cause I just knew they would be great!....wrong! Diabetes runs in my family, so I need to make an appt with my PCP and see what he says about it. Since April I have not had any rice, bread, pasta, my potatoes are minimal, I do not drink sodas of any kind. I just don't get it! It feels like a kick in the gut to be working so hard and then this! Mom said it may be because I did not fast before my blood test. If I was supposed to, they didn't tell me. I guess I shold have figured that part out myself. In retrospect I feel kind of dumb for not fasting before my blood test. Michelle-have a great time. Just reading what you accomplished made me tired! Everyone have a great Sunday evening! PS...my nephew has not had another seizure...whew!

Good morning everyone....beautiful day here again today!! SO, with that being said, I am going to enjoy it. Don't know what we will do, but I will find something!! Nephew is back at home and one his regular meds again. I have not spoke with my sister this morning to see how the night went....hopefully seizure free. Have a great day everyone!!

Wow, long day...so I will make a long story short. My nephew that had tried to kill himself had 5 seizures today and is back in the hospital. When he tried to OD last week, he tried to OD on all of his seizure meds. He has not been able to take any since because his med level was too high....well....too high of one kind and none of the other kind and it all hit him today. My DD was there while it was happening, but luckily we were able to pick her up before she actually witnessed any of it. Each time he had a seizure, he fell down, hitting things on the way down, he has a black eye, busted mouth. He is about 6' 3" and about 260, so we are not talking about a small guy so it stands to reason that when he falls down, he falls hard!! Now we are worried that all of these seizures may have caused some brain damage. As I hear how he is doing I will let you all know!! :cool: Good morning Violets!!! OK, so here is what I did to make the scale start moving the way it is...pretty simple actually. I changed from having my "biggest" meal to lunch instead of dinner. And for dinner I just have either a protein shake or soup. I promise, that is all I changed and it is working like a charm!! At first it was difficult for me because I love love love to eat in the evening, but once I saw the results it handed me, I think I will stick to it for a while. Oh, and one more thing....my fluid pills are very mild and I only take them 2 or 3 times a week, so I have started taking them when I get home from work at 5 PM. By the time I go to bed around 9 I have PP'd all I m going to and it doesn't wake me up at night to go. I thought I would share what I am doing in case some of you wanted to try it. It is very hard having to cook for dh and dd and not eat what they are, but, I had to do something to get to onederland, and it worked!! Now I am still doing it to be able to get as far away from 2something as I can!! Kat-that is a good idea too. Macys dr has prescribed that mixture for her before for something she had wrong. (can't remember what it was, but it was not ulcers) What is Kinsey gonna be for halloween? Laura-I had the bubble PB before too. Pretty gross but kinda awesome looking...I thought WTF? Terri-cool thread you thought of!! I love it! Judy-I do not have the self discipline to only get on the scales once a week. The only way I could pull it off is have someone take my scales and take my debit card so I won't go buy new ones. Good morning everyone!! Now if the tooth I had pulled wasn't bad enough, I have ulcers in my mouth right in the crease of my cheek & gums...OMG, is my mouth ever going to feel normal again? I put oragel but it burns so badly when I first put it on that I am a wimp to use it. With my luck it is some kind of gum disease and I have used up all my dental insurance for the year so now what? Have any of you ladies heard of any good home remedies for mouth ulcers? Would it be a dentist I need to go to? My whole left side of my head hurts. Dear Jesus, I am falling apart!! Oh, and now my medium size boobies are now small boobies. I refuse to be an "A", so if they shrink any more, it will be new boobs with my TT. I did not wanna do that BUT I am not gonna tolerate A's either!! I need to get my wedding ring downsized....it can just slip right off my finger, which I suppose is a NSV. Oh well, at least my bowels are moving. So I guess it could be worse!! OK, that all the whining I can handle from myself this morning! :confused: Everyone have a great day!
