Hi everyone! A new thread....SO exciting! Thanks for everything Terri.
-
Hi Violets-just popping in for a second. We just woke up from a nap. Macy is still fever free so it looks like she will be able to go back to daycare tomorrow. I feel OK. It isn't anything that would keep me home from work so far so I guess it will be back to the usual grind tomorrow! Have a good evening and I will check back in later...
-
Bologna Terri-you just did not answer it...:wink2:
-
Good morning everyone! Macy is feeling better. No fever since about 4 PM yesterday. I went in her room when she was sleeping and she was sweating it out. She still has a horrible cough and a stuffy head. As for me, yep, you guessed it. I have it now. Thankfully (so far) my fever has not gone above 101.5. I have the tight chest & coughing. Just all around miserable. Not to mention the scale bounced back up to 180 today. Oh well, it is just temporary. Have a great day violets.

Jenn-I missed the "track" part LOL
-
Jenn-yay for your fill! You have been needing one so bad! I am glad for you Thanks Judy, Pammie & Tracy (either B word will work as long as it has "skinny" before it)
-
By the way....check out my ticker!! I guess being under the weather is helping the scale move? YAY me! I am more proud of this one than onederland! It is weird, but to me it symbolizes "making it".
-
Welcome back Laura!!
-
Kat-I LOL when I read your post. The tuck your elbows tip of the day should have been a few days ago. I did the same thing! I was walking into macys room with a blanket and smashed my elbow into the door frame so hard I actually have a bruise!! YOWWIE! Hurt like hell!
-
Good morning violets- Jenn-good luck at the dr! judy-I never did make chicken salad yesterday, so maybe I will make one today too Pamela-I am glad that alls well that ends well as far as the house. I know the hood must have been freaked out thinking about how the neighborhood might end up being trashed. Would have freaked me out too! Amazing how people can get away with just moving in and not have permission. Some people have so much nerve. Not to mention the lack of respect for other peoples property! I hope they did not trash the house! Same story with Macy. She woke up an hour after she went to bed boohooing cause she was coughing and could not breathe through her nose. Then she woke up at 3 AM but went back to sleep after I gave her some medicine. I had to start taking some Robitussin and tylenol too. Everyone have a good day!

TracyK replied to mdrai's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
Who could we get to be the chaperone? Judy said it has to be an old fart and since she doesn't fit the bill we'll have to find someone -
UPDATE: Macy has 102.5 right now. She has started the sneezing and stuffy head and coughing (worse than before). She is so miserable. Poor baby. As I sit here I have a tight chest, coughing and a mild headache....please Lord, make it go away. She has not had a nap today so she is about to pass out and when she does, so am I. So, goodnight violets! Thanks for all th well wishes & prayers....keep 'em coming!

I agree with LapBandit-up your calories for a couple of days and it will kinda shock your system. I have done it and it works for me (so far). Congrats on the great work! -

NEW! 2008 Shrinkin' Vi's Trip Planning Thread!!
TracyK replied to mdrai's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
Hopefully I will have someone to ride from Houston to SA with me. Like I said, I am willing to pick people up from the houston airport on the way to SA. -
Kat-I have some tucks...that is a great idea! Thank you! Jen-Macys fever an hour or so ago was 101.4 and that is with medicine in her, so I can imagine what it would have really been! Tracy-that is going to be the PS I use. He answered one of my questions on here too. I think its pretty cool that he comes here to help!!
-
Hi again...yes she still has fever. No she has diarrhea (sp?) my poor baby! At least she is eating (somewhat) and drinking!

NEW! 2008 Shrinkin' Vi's Trip Planning Thread!!
TracyK replied to mdrai's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
Yeah, what Terri said... Remember when making flights that 3 of us live in the houston area and can pick ya'll up and drive into SA. Even though I hate driving in Houston traffic with a purple passion, I will do it for the violets. (no pun intended) Not to mention I have to go that way to get to SA anyway!! I guess as the date gets closer we can get a list from all of you to find out what times the different arrivals are so we can pick everyone up. I just love when a plan comes together. I am so excited!! -
Good morning violets! I have been up since about 3:30 AM with dd. She was back up to 103.2 and I gave her ibufrofen. She went back to sleep at around 5:30 and slept for 2 more hours. I cat napped with her then I ran to walmart to get a few thing. Mainly I went so I could get out of the house because I am seriously getting cabin fever! I feel better today, thank goodness. I am so worried I am going to get what she has. Thank God for Lysol. Judy-the mental pic of frozen hair cracks me up. So instead of Jack Frost we will call you Judy Frost :girl_hug: I am gonna go check out the trip thread. Have a great day violets!
-
Good evening violets! Judy-hope you had a spectacular trip! We missed you! Laura-are you home yet? We miss you too! Pamela-so in the "real world" do people call you Pam or Pamela or what? Just wondering so I will know what to call you on the trip! (I can't wait) DD is still sick. Good news is she asked for something "real" to eat instead of a popsicle. She requested pancakes, so that is what she got. She ate one small one and she normally eats 2 and asks for more. At least she ate one. That makes me happy. She slept all afternoon so I am quite sure I will be pulling the graveyard shift with her tonight while she is bright eyed & bushytailed. I have already called the girl that works with me and my boss and told them that dd is sick and I don't know when I will be there. On the upside, dh is on his way home from work and I will be able to go take a shower! I feel funky. I thought I was getting sick too earlier. I felt nauseated and I started thinking....what happens when we start throwing up with a band in us? Would I have to get an unfill? Do any of you know the answer to that? Have a great evening V's

I dont see the me that is in the mirror?
TracyK replied to ragdollx19's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
You look amazing! I was banded in April '07 and I am just now noticing (sometimes) in pics and in the mirror that I have really changed. It does take most ppl a while to notice the changes. It is normal. I am in the same boat. The only way I think I could really come to terms with my size I am now is if the old me and the new me were to walk into house and stand side by side so I could see it for myself! Congrats on the success so far! -
