Kat-the scenery is AMAZING! I could NEVER drive those roads....much less with SNOW on them. I get too dizzy on roads like that. Heck, I was getting dizzy just watching the videos. LOL

Good morning everyone~ Sorry for my lack of posting but I have had dss and dsd over. The house was crazy! Michelle-I am so sorry that you are in pain. When should you get to see your dr? You gonna call me? questions, questions, questions...lol (if you have answered these questions, please forgive me and reanswer them) Terri-sorry you are hungry but it will pass. My stomach used to growl all the time. You will be so glad you went through this! How is the weight loss going? Cindy-so tell me...how ya liking this HEAT! omg, it has been unreal, right? I am so ready for winter it is not even funny. So signs of fall in the south!! Angela-I saw about the creme broulee (sp).....ummm, have you made it yet? Everyone...well, I have done FANTASTIC since I saw that HUGE weight gain and I have lost 11 pounds. I am very proud. It has not been easy, but I am doing it. And today I will strive to have another good day :thumbup: Detoxing from ice cream is not easy. For those of you who do not know me that well, ice cream is my drug of choice. Last week I had some and I told dh when i was done "I can honestly tell you that I did not enjoy that AT ALL". I meant it too. So, while detoxing, I am just remembering that bowl and how I was not pleased. That has made it easier (somewhat). On a happy note, I found out that icees (which I am also addicted to) are only 65 calories for 8 oz. WHEW! :w00t: The great thing about that is I do not have an icee machine. lol, I have to drive to the store to get it. Icees are SO refreshing in 100 degree heat. So, I am rambling now so I will just go.... OH...one more thing...dh has lost 2 pounds too. We are rockin' this thing! Have a great day ladies (and gent)

Good morning... I have HAD IT! Does someone want a cat? Angela? I Love Lucy (lol, her real name) but she has got to go. I guess it is easy for me to get rid of her because I have never let myself get extremely attached. She gets into everything, and I mean everything. My other cat was not like this one. Lucy must be part raccoon. I woke up this morning to find cat nip EVERYWHERE. Somehow she managed to get it and rip the bag to shreds. So since I am not a 'vacuum when i first wake up' kind of girl, I snapped. DONE! Last night before we went to bed we had an issue with the cat because Macy AND dh will not leave her alone. I saw macy hitting (tapping) the cat on the head with my sandal. I had to explain that she could have killed her. Macy KNEW she was not supposed to do that to the cat because when she saw that I SAW...she was like "omg mom, I am sorry". So....after lots of explaining to her about how she could have really hurt or even killed the cat, and after lots of her tears and apologies, I was going to give her another chance and let Lucy stay. When I got up this morning...well, you know what I woke up to. Done...end of story. Now I get the fun task of finding someone that wants her. *sigh* Macy is sad but got over it quickly when I told her that later down the line she can get a hamster or guinea pig. Kids are so resiliant. But I also do not want her to think you exchange one thing you love for another. That is why I am going to have a break from pets for a while. The End.... Suzanne- YAY. no cavaties! Michelle-I sprayed some of our training spray (lemon & eucalyptis (sp?) and it is working so far. She normally claws them at night. She HATES this spray, so I am crossing my fingers. I had a cat for 14 years. He was strictly inside and he was declawed. He did really well. I know if I got to choose, I would rather have my fingernails taken off than to move into s strangers house. I hope it does not come down to either one of those. Kat-GREAT SIGN!! I rofl when I read your post! I have seen those tshirts you are talking about. I had to laugh too. Good times, huh?! Angela-about your a/c post, you crack me up when you said "thank you Jesus, and mike" LOL Was it the cheap fix? I sure hope so! Ugh...it is so hot. Good morning! Michelle-good to hear that your dh will be in reaching distance soon! I know how glad you and dd must be I am having issues now about out cat we got a few months ago. DD is already attached (we all are, but some more than others). I found out yesterday that she is ruining our new dining room chairs with her claws. There are claw marks all over them. I am going to try the training spray to keep her awa from them. It worked for the couch but since these are leather chairs and my couch is cloth....may not work as well. I know we can get her declawed but we just cant do that right now. I will call around and see how cheap I can have it done but the four hundred dollar quote I got first for laser removal is way too much. Wish me luck...I would hate to have to get rid of her. Suzanne-LOL...you crack me up! That has to be a GREAT feeling, right?! You are truly an inspiration! When do you think you will be in me and Angelas neck of the woods? Ladies-I am back on track doing what I should be doing as far as eating goes. I have lost some of that dreaded 14 pounds that I have gained. Talk about a total wake up call seeing such an unacceptable number. Monday I decided I am not waiting for a dr appt to try to start losing again. I can just let him know what I have done so far without him, lol. I am not a sit back and take action later kind of girl once I get something in my head. Sticking with it can be an issue sometimes. The thought of a child being abused makes me so sad. How could someone he so mean to someone they love (or are supposed to love). I will never understand that or elderly abuse! The abusers have a special place in hell reserved.

I dont see HOW men (and some women) work in this HELLA HEAT! Good GOD! Took a small nap this afternoon. When the alarm went off I had been dreaming that I was dancing with/hugging my dad. I sure miss him. I wish I would not have had to wake up. It was so real. Maybe I can pick it up tonight... Angela-fingers crossed that a/c is not too expensive to fix! Good morning all- Good GOD...I deserve a little redemption every once in a while! Kat, I got a text this morning from Jen telling me to say THANK KAT for the shirt....she LOVES it! I am about to check my mail. Will let you know. We did not check it yesterday! Macy had a great first day at school. Her coach from her old school is now working at her new school. She is happy about that (I would be too, he is a good lookin' dude). Anyway...she said "he talked about the rules and stuff and I was like, ughhhh, we already KNOW all of this....can't we just GET STARTED?" LOL No patience. She was ready to PLAY. lol How is everyone today?

Guess I should weigh more often. Now I know why my band feels so tight lately... I have gained 15 pounds in the last month. If I keep going this rate...I wont have to worry about my BMI going under 40 going on a 3 month diet.

I got a call from my dr the other day and they told me that myinsurance requires a three month diet for the surgery, not six. ho hum....i do not know how to feel about the whole thing really. Kind of tired of thinking about it actually, so I just won't. :confused: I have bigger things to worry about right now. Hi everyone! Yesss, we were in Louisiana. What a trip seeing Angela and her dh there! We live about 10 minutes away from each other but run into each other in another state. LOL Nope, we did not win but we had fun and that is what counts. We definitely need to plan a trip Angela. Would be BIG fun! Tomorrow is macys first day back at school. Angela-macy is so ready for school it is not even funny. She said she is bored. lol We went to meet the teacher night and macy thinks she is pretty. (she is) She is young with blonde hair and blue eyes like Macy. AND macy said that her new teacher has her favorite book...Stripes. So she is a good teacher in macys eyes! :mad: Today is dh birthday! I wish we could find something special to do since Macy is not here. I know what HIS idea of special is..... Men....lol. They are so easy. (no Trey, I am not being sexist, just speaking the truth!) Awww Michelle...prayers to your sis and her kids! Bethany-i have put the bypass thing on hold for right now because my insurance requires a 6 month supervised diet...BUT my bmi is 40 and if I lose any weight on the supervised diet, i will not have a 40 bmi anymore, which means insurance will not cover it. SO...when i go back to my regular dr I will have him put me on a supervised diet and I will actually apply myself...I do not have it in me to purposely not TRY for 6 months just to get approved. My goal is to lose weight, so that means applying myself, no matter what. I am OK with it. It is in Gods hands. Now...as far as your situation is concerned...I have a 4 cc band too and I have 1.2 in my band and I KNOW I need more and my dr WILL give me more if/when I ask. I can eat just about anything as well. Demand more...tell them how much and WHAT you can eat. Keep me posted about what happens. Good luck! Kat-I am so glad Kinsey does not have strep. I hate that she is already missing school. Lots of kids get sick when they first start back....need to build up their immunity. Can not remember what I was going to say anymore! Suzanne, Angela, Jennifer, Cindy, Terri....
