Today was day 7 post op. went to paneras and ordered tomato soup. Had maybe 8 spoon fulls and doggy bagged for tomorrow. Soup didnt taste the same. Do our taste buds change? The soup was liquidy so it should of been safe. Also i bought chobani yogurt but it had like 20g carbs. Is this the wrong type to be eating? It does have strawberry on the bottom and went down easy. I didnt think i can eat so much day 7. Also at night i am in bed from 10pm to 2-3 am and cannot sleep is this normal? I used to go to ber at 9pm and pass out.

Had panera tomatoe soup. 8 table spoons brought the rest home. What a great taste 6 days post op. eat some tomorrow and the next day with one cup lol

Day 6 post op protein drink with ice and sugar free hersheys syrup blended in magic bullet tastes pretty good. Hope the hersheys syrup is ok

Had surgery at Lutheran Dr Ferzli.. 7days post op today.. Water/yogurt/pudding is the new pizza. Steak and shrimp parm for me now lol

cheese off the pizza.. Lol Sit in a booth lol. I cant wait and then eat 2 bites instead of everyones left overs after my meal and then desert lol. Houlahans misses me.

Im day six and my stomach is full. I havent felt hungry at all.. Weird. Im braving my first cup of coffee with half half right now. I know its a no no. Diahrea at least 3 times a day.

Im on day 6. Go get some greek yogurt vannila or plane. Powerade zero fruit punch for water make sure u sip all day. Protein drink from costco buy a case of either choc or vanilla. You shoukd be good. I bought the magic bullet blender and put my chocolate protein and some ice and make a smooth milkshake. Its not bad. Right now im having a cup of coffee with half and half and sweet n low. I dont think im supposed to have caffein or half half at this stage but i will try it then after drink water the rest if the day.

Well my wife said I have deflated. I have been drinking water and have had some yogurt that's all. I am having my first cup of real coffee with half and half and I hope it does not affect me bad. I don't think I am supposed to have caffeine and half-and-half but I am not going to give up everything. I do have diarrhea at least three times a day because I am not eating any food but protein drinks and water.

U will be fine. Got mine last wed. Give it to tomorrow u will feel better.

Good luck all of you. Had surgery last wednesday so 6 days ago. Feeling fine a little dizzy at times. Sipping powerade zero fruit punch water gets me buy. Today had some chocolate greek yogurt that my daughter had half of. When i am cleared fir cheeses i will take a slice if pizza and eat the cheese/sauce only.

Almost a week post op i want to eat the cheese off pizza lol

I can only sip water or powerade. I am cleared for all liquids but i an so full. I dont even do a half cup of water. Wondering if this is normal? This is day 2 of being home surgery wed home friday ( yesterday)

How much do i have to drink? I sip very little but how do i know if its too much? My stomach growls after a sip sometimes. I just too gas x. I want to be able to drink at least 8oz of powerade

Pain isnt bad i got liquid tylenol i slept ok. I think i need to try and get some protein in..

I havent touched ice. Are you going home with a y meds?

I am sipping vitamin water but really cant get much in. I am no where hungry at all. When can i actually drink?
