Your surgeons office dropped the ball. The first thing they do is give you a list of things to do and you primary Dr to have you on a supervised diet. Like 1200 calories a day and exercise. Visit the Dr once a month and Dr writes sane thing and of course weight. If lost or gained. Of course we dont follow it because we want the surgery and the insurance to say yes. In the end the Dr gives nots ti surgeons office and it is faxed with everything for approval. It seems the surgeons office screwed up how can they be that stupid?

Im 10 days post and can gulp with no problem. Water goes down easy..

Just had about 6 spoons of mashed pot muces with tomato soup as gravy and it felt stuck. Had to drink sine water ti get it down. I know they say 30min after eating to drink..

Quit smoking 3 weeks before Dr said month.. Smoking will mess up healing and possible leak. Havent even thought about a cig since. Preop diet i cheated like crazy didnt lose a pound.

I met my surgeon when i woke up.. I asked him you speak english he nodded and flew back to vulcan. Quit smoking 3 weeks before cold turkey. It was easy and i dont have the cravings for food or smoking now . 10 days post op.

Been drinking liquids right now trying hot green tea with 2 splendas some milk. I was a big coffee guy but i tried it and it didnt taste the same and green tea is better go figure. Anyways i feel very weak today. I dont want to force food. Wife is making instant mashed and i have a bottle of gravy and see if that works. The tea is going down well. I havent felt any hunger at all is this normal?

So im siting here drinking water and sniffing a fish sandwich and cheese burger. I did taste some keychup. Anyways what can we eat at mcdonalds after the month? Fish no bread? Small cheese burger no bread? Calories are low without fries. Maybe grilled chicken wrap?

I lost. 20lb in 7 days after surgery is that normal? A person who had surgery with after me same Dr only lost 7lbs..

I also take calcium chocolate cheweble from target 3 times, a multi, omerprazole twice and some liquid called carafate 4 times a day. Carafate helps prevent ulcers. Its only for 3 months though

I had surgery the same that you did and I felt very full for the first four days but now I feel comfortable I don't even have to drink anything and I don't have any hunger. Wife is bringing me soup from apple bees. Probably have 10 spoon fools then save for tomorrow. If i drink a lot fast my head gets fuzzy. So far 20lbs today. I will weigh every wednesday morning since surgery was last wed. What about you?

Last wed had surgery havent felt hunger at all like does it even exist now?? Down 20lbs feels great and only one week lol

Aug 21 sleeved down 20 lbs as of today.. 1 week 20lbs lol. Drinking powerade zero, pure protein already made from costco, panera bread tomato soup yum yum. And never hungry weird. Feel good. I dont count anything. Also have yogurt. Probably not drinking enough and protein but feel good. I havent been 276lbs in 10 years lol
