Im sure every Dr. is different but she in good care. You would want them to address anything that could com up. It sounds like she is getting more than 1 procedure? You have 1 hour of prep and 1 hour of recovery and in the middle is the procedure time. Call the hospital if you have not done so and check on her progress I will be praying for your speedy healing.

I've done it I'm sleeved, Wanted to change my mind ( got scared during the ride to the OR) but I did it. I'm glad its over. I will say I had a good experience minus a breathing issue (low oxygen levels). I did have on night nurse that I wanted to choke she moved so slow and I had to keep telling her my IV was dry. Then she says she cant speak English. It hurt so bad, She does not need to be there alone EVER AGAIN!!! The drain removal was interesting no pain at all. I'm not in any pain but very tired my return to ATL took 13 hours. I'm home now had my1st full night of sleep and feeling ok. I must say Kudos to A Lighter me Janese and the staff were excellent!!!

Hi my surgery is on the 17th in TJ with Dr. Lopez. pre-op diet has been really great. I used really great tasting protein shakes from syntrax nectar I mix with silk almond milk. I really like the strawberry Kiwi I mix with banana flavor (same brand) and the fuzzi navl and fruit punch was good as well http://www.vitalady.com/cgi-bin/commerce.cgi?search=action&keywords=syntraxnectar&template=Templates/sr_syntrax_nectar.html I am very nervous because I'm going by myself, but excited. Now I have to go all clear liquids for the next 3 days then recovery time. I've stocked up on supplies, and lots of apple juice and crystal lite. I will say constipation has been a issue but I'm dealing. I have lost 10lbs so far was hoping for more but its a start. Is any one else going to TJ the next week? I wish all of you much success and my prayers are with you. -
