I was sleeved 4/18 and it's hard for me too. I finally just keep a water bottle with me at all times, and every couple of minutes, I take a sip. Better than nothing! You don't want to get dehydrated!

Hello everyone! I am new here, and thought I would share my journey so far! I watched my brother-in-law go through the Gastric Sleeve Surgery and process, and decided this is something I wanted to do for myself. I have always been overweight, and I have finally had enough! I am ready for a change:) I started the whole process on 1/19/13, and my surgery date is finally scheduled for 4/18/13! I started my liquid diet on 4/3/13, two days ago, and I've already lost 5.5lbs! 12 days to go! It's not as bad as I thought it would be! Yes I get hungry and light-headed once and a while, but it doesn't last long. I'm not just completely miserable, which I thought I would be! I am getting very anxious for surgery! My family has been a HUGE support for me through all of this, and I couldn't do it without them! It's nice to meet you all, and I am happy I found a place to talk to people that know what I'm going through!

Single too, here in Arizona! I'm getting sleeved April 18th! Excited to start this new life, and maybe meet someone once I start feeling better about myself!

I'm doing pretty okay on the liquid diet! It's gotten easier, not as bad as I thought it would be. How are you doing? And I know! Next week is coming so fast! I am also in phoenix, and surgery on the 18th!! I'm 24 years old! Which hospital are you going to be at?

My surgery date is April 18th!! I'm having the same emotions as you are! I am in the middle of my liquid diet, and it has been a rollercoaster! We can do this!! Good luck with everything:)
