    sleeved

I am 3 weeks post op and was just allowed today to start soft foods. I am so excited to finally have some chicken salad with puréed carrots. I never thought I would say that. I am done 22.5 lbs and am super happy. Good luck.

    Sleeve on 4/23/2013

It's what my dr says. 3 Protein Shakes and lots of fluids. I asked about broths and they said absolutely not. I see from this forum that each dr has different rules. I'm really doing ok for the most part. I have my struggles. It's not easy at all as you all know but the end result will be so worth it. My hardest part is since I have been sleeved I have had parties every weekend. Sitting at a table while everyone else eats is very difficult. And this weekend is Greek Easter the biggest holiday and feast for us Greeks and I can't eat nothing. But I will think positive and push through (I hope). Thanks for the ice pop recommendation will go out and buy them.

Nut suggested sugar free Jello and Ice Pops and it really did do the trick for now. Down 15lbs and really excited to See the weight come off. Good Luck to you all. Def talk to your nut mabe they can give you other ideas too.
