During my first 2 weeks I was feeling lightheaded and my doc told me to start taking B12, and that really helped me.

Do you like the EAS? If so, I'd add some unflavored protein powder to them bc they could use a higher protein count. -
1 day or 2 day stay, does it matter?

My surgery was outpatient. And I couldn't get out fast enough. Lol -

Don't panic. I wasn't even allowed protein until the 2nd week. Just keep trying! -
Totally normal to be emotional after surgery. And yes, it is hormonal. I was even crying for commercials. LOL.

Question for all June sleevers
Mrs.RRn replied to cmathews77's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
1. Tolerating anything I try but still following the rules.. Low carb/ high protein. I've stayed away from starchy carbs but do eat fruit/veggies/meat/dairy. Eating 2-4 oz per sitting, depending on what I'm eating. 2. I don't count calories (per Dr. request) 3. I had stopped but started again after the hair loss started. Figured the extra protein couldn't hurt. 4. Surgery was on 6/11- - 71 lbs lost. 5. Love this sleeve. Down from size 22/24 to 14/16. Feeling great! -

Walking, swimming, bike, Taebo (without the jumps) light hand weights, walking up and down stairs... Stuff like that. No running. No intense ab exercises. No jumping. -

Yes, deviled eggs are really easy to eat. I make me a deviled egg (yep, 1- and my coworkers laugh) once in a while to bring to work. Except I use a Lauging Cow wedge instead of mayo-- yum!

And be sure you aren't sacrificing nutrition to have wine

I don't have an issue with chicken, but turkey doesn't sit well. It doesn't come up, it just doesn't feel good. But I do find steak is easier than poultry (strange?).

Yes, SE LA. It's funny how not having AC doesn't make the top 3 worries now. Haha. The heat isn't quite as bad with these lbs gone.
