From the album: 4th Month Post-op
My husband fusses about this-- empty water bottle caps left everywhere. Lol -

Sometimes I do this to organize myself - working a few nights in a row, it's easy to get confused or forget since the 24hrs just roll into each other. -

What I eat: These are from 2 weddings I attended. The left side is what I served myself, the right side I what I left after eating. -

I love making these side-by-side photos to remind myself that, yes, this is actually happening. -
I cried the first few times too. The first thing I purchased after losing wt was undies from Victoria Secret. The sales lady asked me what size I wear, and I said, "I don't knnnooowww." And starting crying. Haha. "Don't worry. I'll help you... You look like either a medium or large. We have XL, but you definitely won't fit those." ... And then I starting crying again. LOL

Oh, I'm sure my husband is dreading the disgusting amount of money I'll be spending on shoes once I reach goal. I'm walking out of my heels now (but I'm just excited to be able to wear heels again)!!!!

I'm with you- still seeing myself as larger. I think that's why buying these clothes were so important now. Now I can actually see my figure, and be proud of where I am.... Over 80 lbs down, and from a size 24/22 to a 12. I'm glad my husband stepped in and told me I looked ridiculous wearing larger sizes. Lol.

It's normal to stall around week 2-3. Don't get discouraged.

I find myself wandering into the plus size section- and then getting redirected by some sales associate- which always makes me laugh. I've held out on not buying for as long as possible with the exception of undergarments (I may have gone a little overboard at Victorias Secret). But it's a blast to walk into a store and know I can fit something in there.

So.. Does your husband like you now that you're skinny?
Mrs.RRn replied to Mrs.RRn's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Oh the dreaded "can't you do it by yourself?" Or "it's the easy way out." Yes, try obsessing over anything you put in your mouth, count/measure/weigh every bite of food. Count calories, carbs, Protein, Water intake. Exercise 2 hours a day. Research everything you do like a mad scientist .. And then tell me if this is easy. Lol. -
