  19. @ 8 months post-op: B: 3oz oatmeal L: omelette- 1egg w/ cheese & sliced turkey S: Quest Protein bar D: 3 oz chicken w/ green Beans S: 1/2 an apple and 2 tbsp Peanut Butter
  20. Beat my personal best for a mile- still slow, but getting better. :)

      Awesome! You hit the nail on the head, "getting better"! I suspect it would have been difficult for the old you to run a mile, I know I would've struggled (more than likely passed out! LOL).

      My wife lost her mind and signed us up for the Crescent City Classic! I'm not to the point of running or even jogging the whole way, however I will not be sitting at home that day either!

      Keep it up Lady, good stuff!

  21. Anyone try it? Bought some today... My fav is still chocolate chip cookie dough, but these aren't bad-- might taste better refrigerated-- like Cookies & cream icecream??? Oh yeah, and as of this morning, I'm 100 lbs down.. Here's a pic.

    Wow - this sucks

    Oh wow. I feel so bad for you guys. I did have my surgery outpatient (which is what I chose/wanted) and had very little discomfort. - no need for any pain medication actually. Hope your journey gets better/ easier!
