I am at the point now I can eat almost anything just very small portions, I am still having difficulties with emotional eating but I have taught myself to recognize these instances. -
How are the march 2013 sleevers doing?
Picasosz replied to Kitkat101484's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I hate Scales!!!, because I can go to 3 different doctors within 3 hours and have a 10# variance I was sleeved at 333 on my scale today 301 so 32#'s in 2 months and 4 days I dont know if is good bad or average, still very frustrated with myself for getting so obese in the first place. After I was sleeved I really started noticing what a blob I had become, before surgery I feel there was a reality distortion field around all my mirrors and now they are gone. Doc put me on welbutrin 8 days ago still feel depressed though. -

Wow I cant believe the hate on this board I saw some one with 40 lbs having a consult about a vertical sleeve, and you haters that are lazy will not be successful it is still about Diet and Exercise!!! wether you have 10lbs to loose or 400 Lbs to loose. None of the people on this board know me or have walked a mile in my shoes and yet they are ready to ostracize me. well to all the lazy people looking for a quick fix the truth hurts dont it. -

I must say I am so surprised by the people with less than a 80 lbs to loose that are opting for this surgery, This is not the easy way out this is very challenging both physically and mentally, I have personally lost 140 lbs three times ove the past 35 years so I know it can be done without surgery. My problem is that it was a 10 year cycle each time to loose and then gain the weight back, at 50 I dont have that many 10 year cycles left. Every time I lost the weight before the sleeve it was diet and exercise... Guess what sleevers it is the same thing after the sleeve... Diet and exercise!!!! Weight Loss Surgery Is not the Easy WEIGH out. -

My Opinion on these surgeons is that they are first and foremost salesman, they want your business but after you are sleeved they are on to there next sales pitch, what is bad is if your surgeon is more sales man than surgeon. Find a good support group. -

I was sleeved March 11th at 333 on April 1st I weighed 315.3 on April 8th I weighed 313.8 very discouraging as I struggle to get in 700 calories a day, I am sure it will get better when I am released to exercise, Biggest Problem is lack of energy. -
It is a chore for me 26 Days since GSV Surgery tried something new last night.... Buffett actually was not bad total waste of money though but it let me trie a bunch of different foods
