You guys are AWESOME! I'm just SO worried that I can't do this... My husband (who just got done crunching on his yummy dinner) told me "just make it to tomorrow, and THEN call the dr's office". Thankfully, it's almost bedtime, but I just look ahead and see that I have 6 MORE DAYS OF THIS!!! You guys are all SUCH an inspiration! (in my hubs defense, he DID offer to make me some soup even thought I threatened to shove the soup "where the sun might not shine", he tried). A little confession here, I CAN'T STAND the NUT. She's very strange and sort of condescending. I feel like I should already know all this already. But all that has just gone out the window (along with what I fear is my sanity).

I'm sitting here right now crying and reading this... Thanks for the encouragement. I just wish the surgery was tomorrow and I could be on the other side. Maybe there'd be a "light at the end of the tunnel (that wasn't a train carrying a load of people all crunching on foods that smell delicious)". I keep reading on here where people have slip-ups and others reply saying they're not committed or they aren't strong enough to follow what their doctor is telling them. I don't want to be a failure.

Pre-Op Liquids Are Kicking My Toosh!
AggieSleever replied to AggieSleever's topic in Pre-op Diets and Questions
Normally, I love chicken broth. But, the other day I was SO worn out over the whole liquids process that I would've cried if someone handed me chicken broth. I've prayed and prayed.... -
Need Advice About Protein
AggieSleever replied to AggieSleever's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Thanks for the tips! I will try them ALL. At this point, all I see the protein shakes are good for is brick mortar or torture for prisoners. I feel like such a failure... I'm now worried I won't be successful at this. All because I can't drink shakes! -
Pre-Op Liquids Are Kicking My Toosh!
AggieSleever replied to AggieSleever's topic in Pre-op Diets and Questions
Oh!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH for letting me know I'm "normal". I have already had 2 meltdowns today out of frustration at myself! Normally, I'm a very even-keeled person. I'm always smiling and friendly, but yesterday, if I thought I wouldn't have gone to jail, I would've rammed everyone with my car and then promptly driven to McDonald's (because they have the BEST Dr Pepper and all larges are only $1) and bought TWO Dr Peppers and just sat in the parking lot, double fist drinking them! -

I'm insured and have secondary insurance... Of course, it depends on if they "approve" me. Hahahaha!!! Actually, Dr Sherrod is a part of the physician group I am looking in to. How was your office experience? Bedside manner? Etc... Oh.... And... SAW EM OFF!!! -

BadBoy, thanks! That's one of the things I want to avoid (the assembly line)... I'll look in to Methodist.
