This phase starts for me next week is there any where to find foods that will actually taste good pureed?

Me too! I'm ready to at least start pureed food because im over these shakes lol atleast in that phase we can try different foods...my dr said not to try pureed until week 3 but I think I will try it at least the 2 days before mt actual 3rd week lol

Each day is better still full of gas and sore and I cant get in a full protein shake to save my life! Lol. ..its normal to be nervous just follow your dr instructions and you will be just fine good luck to you!

Thank you! Im trying to rest but been walking around the house about 3 times a day to get this gas off me. ..itd horrible

No I didn't. .. but my dr wrote me a letter stating how I have knee and feet pain and how this interferes with me working out.i sent that letter out with my appeal and was approved in 30 days

They denied me.. Said that I had to lose 10% of my current or highest recorded weight and that the info my dr submitted showed that I gained weight and since I went from Bcbs of IL to BCBS of TN that I have to do a different eval with the psychologist than what I already had done... Im super frustrated!!!!

I have BCBS TN my paperwork was sent out today but I haven't lost any weight and its frustrating that you spend so much time money and effort and that your insurance can deny you for not losing enough BEFORE surgery! But Im crossing my fingers that it gets approved!! Good luck! :-)

I'm waiting too! I have BCBC TN and Mine was sent off today and I heard that I may have to lose 10% of my body weight which is 27 pounds!!! I'm sooo scared because if I could lose that quick then why would I need to do surgery?! So I'm nervous just like you!!! Good luck! :-) -

My new insurance begans June 1 and I have already done all my appts, meetings etc on my previous insurance. My dr office is sending it off tomorrow to see if they will approve it my new insurance is BCBS TN and they cover it at 90% with a $2500 co-ins. I'm just worried they won't cover it because its such a new policy Im bummed ???????? -

Yes I read that too, but I was wondering why they just can't use the precious years or months for your weightloss or how would they even know if u really didn't lose that much -

My dr office also did an awesome job with the paperwork now I have to wait to see what the insurance says. How long did it take to her your approval?
