Hey guys and gals! My surgery is on May 20th, 2013. I am 21 years old, 5'4 230 lbs looking to loose 100lbs. I got approved by United Health Care April 5th, my surgeon is Dr.Beth SCHROPE over at Columbia University! I am super excited and I can't wait to get sleeved. I can't wait until the day my sleep apnea gets better, I wake up refreshed and not tired.. and I can feel comfortable in my own skin.

I am still here in the hospital, not much pain..because of the pain medicine, so happy I decided to stay here one more night ..they are so attentive here. I haven't really gotten my liquids in..a bit nauseous when I try.. I am healing .. took a shower feel better. I walk and gas comew out..so that's good. I hate sugarfree stuff and no sodium broth.. taste disgusting. Any suggestions.. maybe popsicles I keep hearing about them..and how about soups?

I am on day 2 post op, two nights before surgery I went to my favorite Indian restaurant and had a huge delicious dinner.. the night before that pizza! Lol I was so afraid I would jeopardize my surgery and my Surgeon said good job on the liver lol.. ahh..

I haven't drank water in two full days.. and let alone put anything in my mouth other than my toothbrush. I am craving ice. Tomorrow morning is my xray and leak test and supposedly I can eat if all is well. The biggest problem since surgery is my heart rate.. and blood pressure.. hmm..but I don't feel anything. I do however get nauseous when I walk..and I hate this cathider lol I know I spelt it wrong. But who cares. Lol its annoying I don't even feel the pee coming out.. and they did it during the surgery

i know exactly how you feel, and despite my 6 month weight loss plan, it sucked because HELLO I have been on diets my whole entire life, I do admit, it goes by so quick before you know it, it's go time! Don't give up, hang in there and remember whenever your sleeve date is all EYES will be on you God Bless

Omg, I remember counting down from day 47 to 4!? Where did time go lol.. I am super excited, nervous more than anything. ..and a part of me is wondering what am I doing!??? Lol overall grateful to God for this opportunity! ; blessed today was my PreOp appointment I met with my Surgeon and an Anaestheilioligist lol if I spelled that correct. Anywho I lost 6lbs this week not sure how my liquid diet hasn't been the best. I am blessed !!! God is good guys. Well see you on the losers bench!!! [ATTACH]12771[/ATTACH]

Hey Sleevers! I am getting cold feet. On my 2 week liquid diet and I have cheated but not letting that bring me down! I literally can not believe I will be getting sleeved in 10 days. I don't know where to start, I am so ready but nervous of the new life to come. I am taking 4 weeks off from work, because my surgeon suggested it was enough to prepare me for my new life. I suffer from sleep Apnea and the worst one of all Hidradenitis Suppurativa after gaining 70lbs so quickly my thighs develop boils on a weekly basis.. I hate them. They ruin my life and people think its easy to work out..but not when you have this embarrassing disease. Well here I am guys and my faith is in God! Tell me why are you doing it? What are some of you NON scale VICTORIES?

The Scale says one thing but the way you look and feel say another! Don't focus on the scale for a little bit and trust me keep doing your thang! You will get to your goal, you are beautiful amazing...at 160 and you will be at 150! I wish you the best and continue to do your thing! Looking up to you!

Hello Ladies and Gents! So yesterday I went to WalMart to do the shopping for my liquid Diet which I started today! I weighed myself at 232, hmm no so good but it made sense I was endulging in yummy food ...basically saying my goodbyes. I started this morning off with some Vitamins and a SPECIAL K chocolate Flavored Protein shake .. I really enjoyed it! May 15th is my PRE OP Appointment with my surgeon and I am going to do my bloodwork that day. Ahhh! So excited. 14 days to go people! I can not wait! I taste it already. You are all in my prayers and I thank God for this oppurtunity! Hope yall are doing great. Much Love Jenn!

Hey May Sleevers how is it going! To those who have been sleeved CONGRATS! Welcome to your new life, and to the rest of us.. anxious, nervous and hopeful lets continue to pray that everything shall come out okay! I am so excited I have 17 days left, of this life.. to so many 230lbs is nothing, but to me.. it has been the most difficult time of my life. I have had so much pain carrying this weight and yes I am to blame but hey I am doing something about it. So I am proud to say I am going to get sleeved on May 20th!
