My hubby and I are post-op day 6. On day 2, we had sugar-free popsicles, chicken broth, and jello. ice chips also helped. And the amount was small for each, so we were pretty much just trying everything. Good luck!
Sorry it took me so long to get back to the post! I did a search of medical research articles to see if any vision changes were reported. I couldn't find anything. I think the suggestions provided here give you a good place to start with your doctor. Good luck and please keep us updated!
Hi, I'm sorry that you're having to go through this. I'm preop but I'm also a nurse and have never heard of this complication. The first thing that comes to mind is are you taking your required daily vitamins? I'll do some research and see if I can come up with any additional info.
My hubby and I have recently celebrated our first anniversary! Not only is he supportive of my decision to have surgery, he's doing it with me We are tentatively scheduled for next Friday but that could change to the following week. We are unbelievably nervous, but very excited to start our new life together!
Good luck with your surgery! I'm scheduled for 4/12 and have no idea what I'm doing. My doc asked my hubby and I to go on the South Beach diet, phase 1 (which means no carbs).
