I need some advice....I am 3 weeks and 2 days post op and i have felt like i had a UTI, but tested negative. But i so a high amount of Protein in my urine. The first urine test they did showed 30 and then today they did another and it went up to 50. I am worried and wont get to talk to my PCP till tomorrow. Has anyone else had this?

I too was sleeved on May 6th in Tyler Texas. I have to say that the gas pains were the worst for me. My incisions have always just been discomfort. I haven't been able to get protein in because i can not tolerate it. So for now i am just trying to stay hydrated. Where are all you guys on your post op diets? Clear liquids or full liquids? I have already lost 16 pounds!!!!

Tomorrow is my BIG day!!! May 6th!!! I am not really nervous right now but i am sure that i will be in the morning. I have to be at the hospital at 7 am and my surgery is supposed to start at 9am. I will keep everyone updated as i can!! I appreciate all the support and helpful answers i have gotten from this wonderful forum!!!

Does everyone have to take a laxative before surgery? This is horrible:(

Im on my pre op liquid diet and i am starving too. I cant handle the protein shakes, at least the ones that i have tried. I am going to get me some from GNC tomorrow, i have heard that ISOPURE is good, My surgery is May 6th and i am nervous too!

So i start my pre-op diet tomorrow and i am hoping that it is easier than it sounds. No real food for 9 days, but i guess it is for the good because it is getting me for the diet for the next few weeks after surgery. If anyone has any ideas on good protein shakes please do tell. I am still very nervous but i guess i have a little piece of mind with it knowing that i will be around for many years with my kids. I want watch them grow up and have babies of their own. Any words of wisdom from anyone is welcome!!!!

I wanting to find out from those that had or still have PCOS if after surgery your symptoms went away, like excessive hair growth?

I know that everyone is different, and i haven't had my surgery yet, but i am scheduled for May 6. I had a hysterectomy 3 years ago and i was wondering for those woman that have had one was the pain worse for the hysterectomy or the sleeve? Please any comments about pain will be appreciated. And like i said i know that not everyone is the same, it just makes me feel a little better to hear about others experience with post op pain.

May 6th seems like a pretty popular date for us sleever's!!!!! I can't wait either but I'm pretty nervous, ready to be health and be able to buy clothes that are cute!!!!

I hope we can too!! I take daily meds for panic/anxiety, mood disorder, and depression. I am super scared but then again I super scared of dying of being fat and leaving my kids without a mother. I know I will make it through this and so will you, we got this, we just got to keep telling ourselves it is for the better!!! Keep in touch with me and I will with you!!!

So today i went for my final NUT appointment, and for some reason i had a nervous stomach all day. I got the approval from the insurance company and i got my date which made me even more nervous. I go on the 24th for my pre-op stuff, my surgery is May 6th. I have anxiety/panic disorder, so i am hoping that i will be ok after surgery. I would like for any one to give me any advice for now to help calm me and after surgery.....Thanks Bunches!!!

I should have a surgery date soon too and i am terrified, but i know i need this tool to help save my life so i can watch my kids continue to grow. I am 28.... I have high cholesterol, pre diabetic, fatty liver disease, and it is time for me to do this. I am excited but i am so scared of what it is going to be like afterwards.
