I'm having pain on my left side. It lasted all last night. When I move it sort of feels like a pulled muscle. (That the best way I can prescribe the pain) I think it's gas. Has anyone else had this problem??? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

3 Month Stall Help
krystalt313 replied to krystalt313's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Thanks for the responses. I know for a fact that I'm not getting enough Protein because I hate the Protein drinks. I also don't eat a lot. My thighs have gotten huge since I started working out which makes me feel like I'm gaining weight. Ugh -
I was sleeved 4/26/2013 and I've been at a stall for 3 months. What's really discouraging is that the doctor told me 2 months ago that she thought I would have lost more weight by now, which is even more discouraging! I have been exercising. I have started Zumba, kickboxing, and walking. Any suggestions on how to speed up my weight loss. I'm looking good but the weight is not falling off as I expected.

I was sleeved in April. I am a former Pepsi addict. I drank a cup of Pepsi last week, and my stomach did not react well to it. I guess it's the carbonation, but it felt like a balloon kept inflating and deflating in my stomach for hours. Kind of hard to describe the sensation, but I won't be drinking Pepsi anytime soon!

Bad Habits Creeping Back Up WAY to soon! PCOS
krystalt313 replied to Lia M's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
You acknowledged the problem, and that's the most important thing right there. Bad habits are hard to break, and there is always tomorrow! None of us are perfect. You have lost a lot of weight so far! Keep your head up and keep on losing! -
Yeah. I have noticed myself hiccuping too!

Why am I starting to burp while eating or after I eat? Curious.

I eat oatmeal in the morning for breakfast when im working. I eat brown sugar oatmeal. For some reason it taste different now. Maybe because I don't add extra sugar to make it taste better

I wonder the same thing. I'm 6 weeks too. I ate pasta last week. It actually went down good and I felt fine. I didn't eat a lot of it, because I didn't wanna overdue on carbs. I'll take every bodies advice and try to steer clear of the high carb foods.

8 weeks and Pushing Food Boundaries
krystalt313 replied to girlrfriday's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Potatoes are my slider, but I have tried to Just eat them on the weekend. During the week if I eat them I boil red potatoes, because they break down better than white potatoes. I also try to eat them earlier too. I'm 6 weeks out. -
tummy tuck before children
krystalt313 replied to ********'s topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Having kid after a tummy is possible, but it could possibly mess up your results. The tummy tuck cuts away excess skin and they also tighten your stomach muscles. I had a tummy tuck about 6 years ago and I have a 10 year old son. The doctor really wanted me to wait to have a tummy tuck since I was only 24. However, I knew that I didn't want anymore children. I did the surgery and since then I had put on 70 lbs. LOL. My stomach was no longer flat after 70 lbs, but 6 years later my stomach muscles are still super tight. Now that I'm losing weight I see my stomach going down. I believe I will get my original tummy tuck results back! In fact I know I will. My body is bouncing back. Sorry, I'm typing so much. Live in the moment and get your tummy tuck! You will love the results. I couldn't believe how amazing I looked after my tummy tuck. Get it while your insurance will pay, because its super expensive. -

Foodie question
krystalt313 replied to krystalt313's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Well actually I have been eating pretty good. Before surgery I only hate pancakes or waffles occasionally. Like 3 or 4 times out the year. I just wondering how the sleeve reacts to certain foods. Realistically, I think all foods are fine if eaten in moderation. -
