We usually have Pace here, or the store brand of Pace. I like it fine but I suppose I'm not too picky? I think it's ALL good!! BUT, when I do make it at home, I go to Wal Mart and get a packet of Salsa Seasoning made by Concord Foods. I also use their Guacamole seasoning packet but I don't follow their recipe...anyway, I get a big bag of ripe Roma tomatoes, 1/2 a purple onion, chop them up pretty finely by hand, add about half the seasoning packet or less, stir and let set in fridge overnight. Pretty darn good! They make a spicy variety but I don't like it. The mild is just great. But I'm betting Jack's DW's recipe is better...waiting!!!

Oh yeah, baby! SF Kool-aid counts! There's a whole thread on Crystal Light...maybe do a search? but I got a great idea from there and it's working out great. It's called Water Sensations. I have only been able to find it at Super Target. It's little packets of liquid flavoring you add to your water bottle, only I add 1 packet to 2 water bottles, and just keep 2 bottles at a time going. It's plenty of flavor with just 1/2 a packet, and adds enough zip that I can get my water in with NO problem! I found my compromise. Yay! Crystal Light and SF Kool Aid are definately better than nothing, but there really is no substitute for plain ole water. And I'm fairly certain there is no caffeine (sp?) in Kool Aid.

And Tommy O loves Peanut Butter and knows the words to the songs from musicals. I respect that, so I think he's right. In my defense, my "ignore" comments were a carry over from another thread...so I was having the same conversation and should have put more thought into it. Sorry. But now, I'll leave my sorry-assed comment posted since it apparently fits into the conversation somehow, based on what P'nut posted. Aye, aye, aye! Anyhow, I'm really sorry.

If I could have this covered under insurance and stay in the states, you bet I would. And I like my MX doc and the experience he has! I was also ready to get going and didn't want to do all the hoop jumping. But I had no hope of coverage, so it realy wasn't a decision I had to make based on that. That's a tough one, but if I had to be honest, stateside WITH insurance, or MX without, I'd stay in the good ole US. Now, banded by a great doc in MX and coming home to covered fills and aftercare is like dreamland...what I wouldn't give! Sorry, I guess I'm not that helpful. :welldone2:

I get my nose bent over rude teenagers who don't look at you when you speak to them, mumble and mutter and act like you are invading their space by simply being. Smark-alecks. Dang...my kids are little but if I EVER!!!!!! see or hear of them talking to adults the way I have seen teens talk, OMGosh. Not my kids...they won't leave the house for a week if they even attempt such attitudes! gggrrrr there, that's better. This has turned into a very therapeutic thread. I'm sure I'll think of more and it will be a blessing to post it! :mad:

Justice. I can't stand rude kids with no respect...oh, that's another thread about bent noses...Yay, cute, new boss!!!

I bought a new sweater from the regular clothes section...not the Plus Sizes! It's an XL, not a 1X, 2X, or 3X. Yay! I brought my Dad home fromt he hospital today. He had a Warthins Tumor on his Parotid Gland in his neck. All biopsies came back negative for malignancy. He has a huge scar from around his ear lobe several inches down the side of his neck. The surgery involved not one, but two branches of facial nerves that come out of the skull and run down the face and neck. It was a complicated surgery, and the risk of losing his ability to move his face were great because of the way the tumor was situated. Thank the Lord his doctor is wise and experienced and Dad is well. He's shacked up at his house with his puppy dogs and a fridge full of Ensure and pudding and yogurt. He's sore but not in pain. Whew. My husband did the dishes and washed the kitchen floors. My kids are sleeping souundly in their comfy beds, happy and clean. Tonight I threw away half a granola bar. I was trying to eat it because I took a bite...then I thought...I don't want that...why don't I just throw it away? Buh bye, empty calories!!! That felt good.

I had a prescription for Wellbutrin filled a few weeks ago, but it was the XR or whatever the time-released one is. It's too big and concerned me that it was not going through, so I only took 3 doses. My plan is to call the doc and switch to the plain ole Wellbutrin, which isn't time-released, and is, therefore, crushable. I don't know what the doage will be, but if I can crush it, I'm good. My band doc told me to crush the OTC Prilosec post-surgery and I did with no ill-effects. It worked gret...but the two drugs are so different and used for differnt things, so I'm not willing to "just crush it anyway" on the Wellbutrin. Especially when all I have to do is change the pill. anyhow, hope that helped.

I don't suppose my nose is exactly bent out of shape, but I am bored to tears with thread after thread of XXX topics, trash talk, bandsters berating and belittling other bandsters under the guise of free speech and if you don't like it don't read it. Don't post people!!!! If you don't post, the only posters left are the ones who really want to be there and the fire will certainly sizzle quickly on VAIN topics. And if the topic REALLY isn't vain, then good advice and comeraderie will naturally flow between those interested in the same. The problem is that most of the XXX threads topics in the past weeks have been BAIT. Okay, maybe my nose is a little bent.
