Before and After Pics

Well I don't have kids and my husband is out of town so I spend alot of time at the gym and I watch everything I eat. My family gets bad at NE because I refuse to eat any bread they say that I make them feel bad because I won't give in. But its more because I want to get the weight off and I want to stay away from everything that I loved for as long as possible. I meet this nurse who has the same surgery as me she was so very nice and she told me use the sleeve as a tool don't rely on the surgery alone for weight loss and that's what I have done. I've really worked hard for those results and I am starting to feel so much better about myself. I can't wait to see what I will look like a year from now.

6. Why in the world would you eat candy I thought the whole purpose of getting this surgery was to lose weight and gain healthy eating habits. I have given up bread, sugar and alot of other things because I hated myself at 360 pounds. I'm down 70 pounds since being sleeved on the 8th of April. Yes sometimes I want something sweet but I just don't feel like the extra calories are worth it. I think that if you are falling into old habits you need to refocus on what it is you want from your surgery. It's easy to fall back especially if something doesn't make you sick but think about how much more you would hate your self if the scale was going up instead of down. There are many alternatives to candy bars. I love frozen fruit or raw veggies with lemon and Chile powder . If candy is a must for you buy the minis and limit your self to one just to satisfy your craving . Sorry I just had to get that out I wish you all the best of luck

April 2013!

This is me a few days before and the other pics are a few days ago and I think 2 weeks ago. Not sure what I'm down last time I checked it was 48lbs but that was almost two weeks ago.
11. Hang in there and stick with it I try and eat from 600-800 calories a day and no more. I go to the gym two times a day once at 4am and again after work at 6pm. I stick to mainly cargo to burn fat and calories with light weight lifting afterwards. I don't drink any thing other then Water or Protein shakes. I keep the fridge with lots of string cheese it's low fat and only 50 calories per stick. Just keep positive thoughtsin your head. Stay encouraged and make sure your making healthy food choices.
12. Last time I weighed my self I was down 48 pounds! I was sleeved on the 8th of April what about everyone else?

Nausea at three weeks out

Are you still on a liquid diet I know that I start to feel nauseated when I haven't ate anything. Try eating some mashpotatoes they really helped me they filled my stomach and helped take away the nausea

Nausea at three weeks out

I'm six weeks post opt and this weekend has been tuff for me. I work out every day twice a day and I try and drink as much as possible every day but it's still hard getting in 8 cups of water a day. But I've been feeling so nauseated and my legs keep getting cramps so I did a little research and I think maybe it's dehydration. I've stocked up on gatorade for the electrolytes bananas for potassium and water. I'm trying to eatno more then 800 calories a day some say it's crazy but it's working for me. But I do think I need to get a little more food in my body I'm just so afraid of stretching my stomach and gaining weight. Well back to your problem lol sorry. Maybe you need more liquids
15. I had only a hospital robe on and I had hot pink acrylic nails. I remember feeling so embarrassed when the nurse told me to get into my birthday suit I had all male nurses and then when they wheeled me to the operating room they gave me some wonderful medicine thatmade me do relaxed I remember them strapping my arms down and opening my gown I had not a care in the world lol don't worry it's something that is totally worth it. I'm a little over 6 weeks down and I wouldn't change it for anything. Good luck!!

crunches!

Woww thanks I had no idea thank you for that information I would have just carried on and really caused some damage.
17. I'm not sure if I should be doing these or not but I had my surgery on the 8th of April. I have been working out 2 times a day since the 14th I feel like everything is getting smaller but my stomach so I did some crunches this evening. Now my stomach is hurting not anything major but it's hurting a little. Is this normal should I not be doing crunches or should I continue? It's not a hurt like awwww that work out felt good but hurt like ummmmmmmm what the going on in there.

Anyone

I understand I had my surgery on the 8th and I have shrunk every where but my stomach. All my pants fit a little lose and my stomach but are so huge on my legs. I think we are just all different and some places lose faster then others but I know my stomach has gone down because well I won't get into details but just stay focused. You may not see it or feel it but it's happening just be patient
22. Went to see my Dr today I'm down 35lbs since my surgery. He set a 30lb goal for me and I'm happy to know I passed it by 5. This makes me really happy knowing my 4am and 6pm work outs are paying off. For those of you struggling keep your head up you're gonna get through this everyone else keep doing what your doing!!!!!! Ok that's all just really proud right now!!!
