First up Big hugs Misty!! Secondly u have done so bloody well and u look fantastic! I think ur hubby is finally seeing that ur doing so well and he feels like he needs to do something himself. My hubby is starting to try and lose some weight after seeing me moving and feeling so much better. Maybe this is his way of holding onto the old way u guys lived before the sleeve and he might not see it as hurtful?

I'm 6.5months out now and I was sitting on the grass yesterday and after awhile I relised I was sitting cross legged!!! I haven't been able to do that in years!! Just so happy

Merry Christmas everyone!!! It's been great to read how u all are doing. I've now lost 40.7kgs!! I'm finally starting to see it in the mirror at last haha. I've done like no clothes shopping yet either other than a new bra and shorts. Well I hope u all have a wonderful christmas day and boxing day. Becareful of the nibbles!!! Lol

Hey Spudsy, all the best for tomorrow. My starting weight when I started pre op was 142.5kgs. I'm now 6months out and have lost 39.7kgs!!! I had 2 stuff ups so to speak on my pre op but my surgeon said it won't hurt. It's been and don so just think about the other side of tomorrow. We're all here to give advise if needed. We'll see u on the losers bench soon Cheers Bec

Hi guys!!! I finally worked out the site changed and have finally logged in lol. Well as of Monday I'm now halfway with my weightloss!!! I have now lost 35kgs. I'm so so shocked. But I did go shopping as I had to buy new shorts and 3/4 pants as all mine fall down as I walk haha. Well I'm now fitting in size 20 in Millers clothes which is fantastic. Misty I hope all goes well with ur next op. It's good that ur surgeon can do it as u know what he is like

I hope they can fix ur problem quickly Misty!!

Good evening all, Well I went to Doomben yesterday to The Port Office Marquee Trackside. What a fantastic day!!! It felt weird getting compliments from strangers most of the day!! Lol. On another good note I walked away with tripling my money lol. Here is a pic of me from the day

Welcome Kaz!!! My niece's mum has been done by Dr Greenslade. She had a bypass 20 odd years ago and he just reverted it to a sleeve. I've heard lots of good things about Justin Greenslade. When I went for my appointment with my dr I googled questions to ask lol. But my Dr asked them before I asked haha. As Kelliv and Merry said, ask about pre op and post op regimes. I'm on the southside at Mount Gravatt so if u want to meet up and have a chat that's good with me Good luck on Monday and let us know how u go Bec

Congrats Misty!! Well done also on the run! Well I had my check up with my surgeon the other day. And I have now lost 28.6kgs since 20th May (pre op). 21.4kg since op 3rd June! Dr Daoud is over the moon with my weightloss. Plus all my bloods are fantastic!! I'm feeling sooo great. Also my husband is finally coming home this weekend after 11 weeks away. I just hope he is surprised by my weightloss since we haven't seen each other lol
