I don't know, my BMI was 41 pre-surgery...

I was sleeved March 8 and have only lost 12 lbs...I wish it would fall off of me !!! Congratulations on ur success thus far, u r doing wonderfully !!!

I'm new also, just down 12 lbs, but the way I'm learning to think about it is that I wouln't have lost that much without the sleeve. So, no regrets, just wonder if it's really gonna work for me also....Ive followed my diet faithfully and had hopes of losing at least 20 lbs the first month.

I absolutely could not do the protein shots!!! I get the Whey protein powder from Walmart to make small shakes...not the best taste ever, but ok....

Omg!! U r really craving the crunch if u r enjoying chewing the vitamins, lol!! Just thinking of one of mine makes me cringe...it is so big and sour!

I have a difficult time with this too...waking up hungry in the middle of the night is my problem!!! As u can see, I'm up at 3:00...had another sugar -free popsicle!! Just can't seem to break this urge!! I'm trying....

I've just lost 12 lbs in almost 4 weeks, but that's 12 I wouldn't have lost without the sleeve! I appreciate all the encouragement ...thank u, u are doing Great!!

I had an amazing recovery, only sick the day of surgery! The bad news is , I had surgery on 3/8 and I've only lost 11 lbs. . As hard as I try, I'm almost in tears over this. I started out at 256 and am down to 245 and I am 5'6" tall. I know I should be more grateful to be losing at all, but it sure is difficult ...I thought it would be falling off like everyone else's ...I'm so disappointed . I've gotten some great advice on here and am really trying to not compare myself to others and only to myself...that's my saving grace right now. Congratulations to all of u that r doing so so wonderfully , and best wishes to those still having pain...
