Warning: TMI, but need thoughts
losingpains replied to losingpains's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Thanks all. I may give them a call. I was cleared at my 1 week follow up to do cardio -- just not allowed weights at least until my 3 month follow up. It definitely wasn't what I would call an intense workout - just an even pace (2.8 mph or less) for a long time. That's why having my Ipad and Netflix is going to be my best workout tool. -
Warning: TMI, but need thoughts
losingpains posted a topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Hi all, My apologies for bringing TMI to the table so to speak, but I am not sure if I should be concerned or not. I had surgery on March 13 and my cycle started 6 days later (19th). It ended on the 25th, and just now I noticed that I appear to be starting my cycle again -- only 8 days after it ended. I know cycles can be wonky after surgery, so that isn't what worries me. It is just the timing because I went to the gym today for the first time and did cardio for an hour. Less than an hour later I notice the spotting. Is this something I should be concerned about? Could they be linked or is my body just being wonky? Thanks in advance! Trying not to panic here. -
when can I drink from a straw again.....

I was told 3 months before introducing a straw. I am already having a problem with taking swallows that are too big so I am going to leave the straws alone for now. -

Post op march sleevers

I am sorry that happened to you. I only had a one-week post op appointment, but my doctor did not even look at my weight. I asked him about it and he said the first few weeks don't count because of water weight, etc. He said my 6 week appointment with the nutritionist is when they will want to see progress. -

Thanks. I think you are right. I went home, took a nap for a few hours, then went to bed at my normal time. I feel 1000% better today. -

Hi all, First post here. Sleeved on the 13th, so I am at 2 weeks post-surgery today. My surgery and recovery went amazingly easy. No nausea, not much pain... I went shopping two days after surgery and returned to work a week ago. I felt great and fully of energy -- walking around the neighborhood starting on day 3. The only real issue I noticed is being a little fuzzy or forgetful. I am on soft foods, getting plenty of fluids and protein in. Then suddenly last night and today I feel like I have been run over. I can hardly stay awake at work and I had some nausea this morning. This is so unexpected since I was doing so well. Has anyone else experienced something like this? Thanks.
