    Hello! Surgery is on may 20th..started my pre op clear liquid diet and omg I'm bately hanging on..idk if I could do this. This morning after work (I'm a night shift nurse) I enjoyed half a pickle and omg I'm paying for it. I'm in pain! How can I survive this? Imhaving trouble now...imagine post op :/ nut I don't want to back out...I really want this..

    My scheduled date is May 20th here in edinburg tx! I'm 24 ill be turning 25 in a few days and I'm ready to live this next chapter in my life healthy! I'm so excited, anxious, scared...but we will get through this!

    Wow! You all are doing so well! I know women lose weight slower than men..but I hope ill have really good numbers! Started my clear liquid diet yesterday. ..so not fun! Day 2 of 14 and then surgery time! My fear is not being able to get in all the water, protein, and vitamins post op!

    Im from south texas, Mcallen tx! my surgery is now on May 20th and Im super nervous, but I know I will not regret this. Just praying for a healthy, no complication post op life! I still have a lot of questions on my diets post op. I meet with my surgeon again on May 3rd. I am also very nervous about the 2 week pre op clear liquid diet...how did everyone get through this?

    Best wishes to you! Ill be 25 next tuesday. My bf and I haven't tried to get pregnant yet. We plan to get married in about a year or so. But being a mom is something I really want! And like you, a reason I want WLS is so that my chances for a healthy pregnancy are high! Fortunately I'm not irregular so I don't forsee having those kinds of problems..but only the man upstairs knows!

    Hello sleeve friends! I get sleeved on may 20th. My date had to be moved back because of my director at work :/ unfortunately I'm not from the same area..having walking buddies sounds like a great idea! If you all ever want to walk in texas .look me up!

    Hi mark! Congrats on your progess! How's the post op life? I'm still waiting for my surgeru date.should get it this week. I'm so nervous! I'm 5'7 and have at least 100lbs to lose..so I hope I can do this..worried about the liquid diets. Need to find a protein shake I can possibly acquire a taste for.

Excited to go through this journey with everyone! Veronica..sleeve sisters is exciting! How far along have you come since the surgery? Is the weight falling off? Are you able to exercise regularly with no difficulties?

    Hello my fellow nurses and future nurses. I'm 24 and I've been an RN for about a year and a half..and I love it! I'm in the process of getting sleeved soon..possibly late april.I have my psych evaluation for insurance approval on Tuesday this week. I'm getting very nervous..because ofcourse I find myself reading all about the complications forum. Anyone from the south texas area? I hope I won't regret this life changing decision..
