    Post op march sleevers

I was sleeved march 19. In the first two weeks I lost 21 pounds. I haven't lost anymore yet, but I've slowly introduced the puréed foods and have been doing cardio so I can tell I am losing inches. I'm hoping to see more poundage loss soon. Maybe I'm eating the wrong things. I currently get about 80 grams of protein a day but maybe should start watching my caloric and fat intake as well. The first 20 pounds literally fell off I was hoping the rest would as well, guess it'll be a little more work! Ugh. Pain is beauty, right?! Good luck everyone!!

    Flavorless protein

Has anyone tried the wonder slim protein drinks that are fruit flavored?! My Nut said to try them that they aren't that bad!
  3. I'm having trouble stomaching protein shakes, they make me gag just thinking about them. Has anyone tried the flavorless powder and added it to soups? I'm in the purée stage. Help!
  4. When's losing weight it's more about the protein intake vs the caloric intake protein helps to lose the weight. That's what my dietician told me!
  5. Thanks. I've had to retrain my body to eat slower. I'm naturally a super faster eater and drinker. I'm trying. Thanks for the advice!
  6. You gotta remember why you chose to have the surgery, and why would you already start to sabotage yourself. What works for me is I have a pair of short on my bedroom door that are my goal size. Every morning I see them and every night I see them. That helps me!
  7. My surgery was March 19th, I've recently started introducing yogurt and other puréed food into my diet and it hurts to swallow sometimes. It's the same feeling as when you drink a soda too fast and it feels like it gets "stuck". Does this get better as recovery proceeds? Any suggestions?

    Emotional

I was so emotional, thinking how will this affect my identity I've always been big. It's a hard pill to swallow thinking ill be a different person, but ill be a healthier person. My hardest thing right now is I actual feel hungry, everyone else says they didn't even want food! But I literally am so hungry on the liquid diet!
