3 weeks 3 days post op. It was a really rough few weeks, but we're finally starting to feel semi human again, thank you God.

Post op day 11. Still sore and having trouble getting down my protein, but a touch better than the day before. I lost one of my 5 chins. Back to sipping vitamin water as my afternoon excitement. xoxo all

6 days post op. Starting to feel human again. Holy crap the first few days sucked. I mean REALLY sucked. I was this close to demanding they put cyanide in my IV drip and just end it. (Morbid, arren't I?) But I didnt. Ask that is. Im still swollen bruised and distended, but a world better today than day 1-4.

It was rough, shrink. Im in a lot of pain and feel very melancholy with the whole thing. I hada HORRIBLE first 3 days. I hit the regret stage already. I pray it gets better.. -

Today I received the news. I'd finished all of the mandatory pre op tests, Doctor visits, nutritionist appointments, sleep apnea studies, and multiple blood suckings rituals. I'd started this journey after seeing a photo of myself at my 45th birthday. This foreign bloated woman, stomaches resting on the table, boobs resting on the stomachs resting on the table. I took a deep heavy breath, (this was my "IT" moment) and said to myself, "This will be the last year I Celebrate the day of my birth in a size 24...." That was January 23. 2013. Date of surgery is scheduled for June 11, 2013. I will not be a size 24 on January 23, 2014.
