I start my liquid preop diet tomorrow, and now I'm totally craving greek food but can't do anything about it. lol. Thanks!

e down side, they cost $2 each. Big huge 2nd! I tried one of these today (bought the sampler box on amazon) for the first time. It was fine plain, but I nuked it for about 20 seconds and OMG. It seriously tasted like a thick, fudgy brownie straight from the oven.

Hot damn! You look amazing. And can I just say that I am so jealous of your ankles? lol. Even in your before pic, you have cute little ankles and feet. I'm so looking forward to losing weight not just for my health, but so I can fit into normal shoes... -

It'll depend which bills hit the insurance first. Once the 10k lifetime max is paid out by the plan, any denied claims will not be discounted. I'm pretty scared of what the total financial liability is going to be! But more scared of NOT having surgery, if that makes sense!

My surgeon said it was fine. *shrug*

Dr. Landerholm Edmonds,WA
pinkpeonies replied to pammycakes's topic in Weight Loss Surgeons & Hospitals
I love Dr Landerholm, I saw him a few times when Dr Billing wasn't available, back when I had my band. I'm not a fan of his support staff (though I haven't met Barb, Melanie was the exclusive nut back when). If I were to have chosen a surgeon based on personality alone, Dr Landerholm would definitely be at the top of my list! -
Dang! I'm not sure what the total billed amount will be to insurance at this point, but my out of pocket costs will likely be more than $10k. $1,000 copay, then insurance will pay 80% up to a max of $10,000. I'm a revision, so have to spend the night. Expecting the total bill to be over $30k...

Liquid Diet Questions
pinkpeonies replied to buhbyefatxoxo's topic in Protein, Vitamins, and Supplements
I've been through the liquid diet before, so am DOUBLE dreading it this time. The first couple days suck the most. Have tons of jello on hand, I ate it like there was no tomorrow. And popsicles. (sugar free, of course!). When you get really hungry and/or shaky, consider adding more protein. -
*waves* Awesome snow yesterday, now sunshine today, eh?

Where did you have you surgeries?
pinkpeonies replied to searching's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Searching - I used to be a benefit advocate for a broker, I'm confused over what happened and how E&O would possibly apply in this situation. Feel free to PM me if you want to chat in detail. I had zero help from my band surgeon in supporting my desire for a revision, or helping with insurance. I was at a loss at to how to proceed. My aunt dragged me to one of Dr. Srikanth's seminars, as she was getting a DS. I LOVED him and Sarah, his insurance coordinator. I made my own appt for a consult, and found them to be extremely supportive. Dr. S submitted an excellent letter to my insurance, which he composed himself. There was a single request for additional information, which they submitted, and an approval soon followed. I'd highly recommend them! -
So sorry to hear you're having complications, hope you bounce back soon! Love seeing another babywearin' mama.

I'm having a band to sleeve revision 4/4 with Dr. Srikanth at Evergreen. Dr. Billing in Edmonds did my 4cc band in 2005 at Stevens. I'm in Marysville.
