3 weeks out eating about 1200 cal/day

If 1200 a day is working for you then keep it up. I do anywhere from 800 to 1100 cals a day and I have been losing consistently. Down 65 lbs in 13 weeks. It doesn't have to be super fast does it? where's the race? losing is losing and I didn't have the sleeve so I could "diet" for the rest of my life. I want to eat healthy and be healthy. I think 500 cals a day would make me feel like I am starving and deprived. -
I started at 320 and I've lost 60 in a little over 2 months. My surgeon is very pleased.

Once I stopped the pain pump and got some caffeine mine went away. Was really bad for the 2 days following surgery.

I'm 45 and my husband is 57 and yes!! things have definately improved in the bedroom. My husband was always happy with me and interested, but now that i am more comfortable with myself, we are definately busier than usual. -
what do you eat for breakfast?
K Lee replied to MK1986's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Scrambled eggs with Kraft fat free shredded cheese and picante. I can eat it everyday. -
I also had terrible headaches at first when starting the liquid diet and the first few days after my surgery. Definately caffeine withdrawal. Have a little coffee or tea and taper it off gradually. I stil have a small cup of coffee each morning because the thought of having one of those headaches is too much.

When was your surgery? Just keep hydrated and try to get in some protein. Rest if you need to, move when you can. It will get better. Hang in there.

How were you at 2 weeks out?!
K Lee replied to petra1124's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I'm a teacher. Went back to work after two weeks. I felt good, maybe a little tired, but I was tired before the surgery. Everyday gets better. -
when do you feel satisfied?
K Lee replied to jld42's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
All food still looks good to me, whether I am hungry or not. I miss textures and flavors, but I have been able to resist. At this point, after doing without some of my favorites for so long, even healthy food tastes good. -
How much protein is everyone getting in stage 2?
K Lee replied to QweenNique's topic in Post-op Diets and Questions
I did not like any of the protein drinks that I tried. I also did not worry about protein too much during the first three weeks after my surgery. Just tried to find something that could be pureed and would taste ok. I didn't start worrying about protein until I got to the soft food stage. I am getting more than enough protein in without drinking the protein drinks and I have lost 45 pounds in the 5 1/2 weeks since my surgery. This is what worked for me.
