Dr. Ren really is amazing :wink2: I am down from 281 to now 213 my goal is by the end of the summer to be 190 and then by next February to be 160 i am a very picky person when it comes to doctors and she impressed me with her honestly and knowledge

Hey everyone....its been a while since i checked in.. and it looks like everyone has been keeping and taking the weight off so excited... im now 55 lbs less then when i started at approx 260 june 23rd... its come off faster then i expected but its very exciting also! i would love to know how everyone is doing!! esp kimnyc and fatboyslim =) good luck guys!! and all the best.

thats an awesome idea.... im going to try to get an appt also i figured i get the weekend to relax yet i can come in on friday if something is wrong ... hey if i get an appt at around the same time we could finally meet or smthing

actually im going to have to cancel my appt and move it up a week so i guess ill be there around august also.. its been too crazy with work.. but they made the appt for the fill... to be honest ive been on normal food for a while and its fine.. i love it.. i can pretty much eat anything i want.. just need to chew it well the only diff iis that i control how much food i eat .. i dont know about the support group tho.. no one other then my mom and my best friend know about the surgery... so im not sure im ready for the group yet. are u planning on attending all the meetings?

hey guys... havent checked in here in a while... just wanted to see how everyone is doing ~?~? im good.... i have an appt next week to get the first fill.... i kinda dont want it anymore...lol but i did go down 24 lbs already in less then a month!?!? its pretty awesome .. althought ive been working out alottttt how is everything with u kimnyc?!? whats the update??? im dying to know! and fatboyslim.... uve been really quiet latley <3 later guyssss btw..... dose the fill hurt?~?~? im pretty scared of needles.. so i bet this is going to be alot of fun :/

can i say being on a liquid diet on the 4th of july with no alcahol allowed really sucks!!!... i told everyone i had a stomach virus so it dosent look weird that im not munching down and drinking it up with all my friends...... ugghhhhh :cool: kim-- no more urge to cheat (untill my friends started up the bbq grill) and i had the esophogram.. for some reason it seems like its almost too easy.. but im deff not complaining.. everything's going great just cant sleep on my side. how is everything with you???

ca i think we all do.. but also it depends on how much gas they pumped into your bod.. i didnt have too much trouble in that dept.. just now my port side is really really sore and it hurts if i make sudden movements and at night. has anyone tried real food yet? im on liquid.. and im afraid to cheat yet..but i want toooo..... lol has anyone tried?!? did it go down?!?

haha well im pretty sure u saw me prob?!? my mom was with me the whole time.. and we were walking around in crazy rounds...lol i was walking in a hospital gown.... but i put on grey yoga pants under it.. and my mom was in jeans and either my grey zipup hoodie or her tank top..

guys... i had it done yesterday.. got home from the hospital this morning.... its exciting and im really happy with the way they treat patients at nyu... it was a great experience and the random walks in the hallway that caused traffic were great. everyone was outgoing and a bunch of us strolled around the hallway every two hours together...

hey KimNYC i really hope it happens for you that would be awesome if we both got banded on the same day i really hope the insurance comes through. =) im sure the girls in the office are trying really hard to make sure everything goes smoothly with the insurance .. call johanna and bug her alot thats my best advice

hi fatboyslim i was just wondering since you said you had dr. ren how the operation went and if you had any complications. also how was the care at the hospital? im having surgery on saturday and i guess it just really hit me now. so im having a little anxiety about going in and having it done.. but i know i have to =)

waent to see dr. ren for the consultation today... im getting banded june 23!! its so soon! cant wait :confused: right before that there is a pre admission medical evaluation. but thats just blood work.. ekg.. nd chest x-ray :eek:
