What diets/exercise plans did you try Frank before your surgery?

and! I apologise for what I said to big frank.. it was low. I am trying to nip it in the bud now before I diet my self to morbid obesity.

You qualify for surgery because you have shown every effort to get it under control through diet and exercise, it hasn't worked. Surgery is the last resort. Never should be the first and it clear it isn't. Let her (and me) be. We're here for support.

He does a lot I've been told and I watched a YouTube video of it (in pretty sure he was the surgeon) dr Lopez in tj Mexico.

And definitely going to ask to be doubled up.. Or knocked out for a whole day so there is NO chance of it happening again!

Haha it was my first surgery so I was like oh this must be normal! And I was so dopey my hands were getting in the way of the surgeon because I didn't know if it had happened yet or not! But my god it was sore. I had band done in India. This time I'm off to Mexico!

That was what I was trying to say! U might look at someone with a bmi of 40 as seriously overweight. NZ-ers look at someone at 30 like that.

I am having a revision in April. When I got my band I woke up on the operating table as they were finishing up and it was sooooo painful. I'm due back under the knife in 3 weeks (different surgeon) but I need reassurance this isn't common! I don't think it's happened to anyone before has it!?? It was the worst experience. I was only asleep for about 45 minutes but in the movies (haha) people wake up in comfy beds with their family around them right? Not with a surgeon looking down at you with a scalpel in hand. I keep having dreams that the same thing is going to happen! Argh!

Do u know when u can start the pill again after surgery?

I would be but that's just impossible for me. I have eaten "normal" my whole life, maybe larger than necessary (obviously actually or i wouldnt be in this predicament) but never any junk. The sleeve will work for me because I need smaller portions, I need the hunger hormone cut off. At the moment I eat 6x a day and I don't want o have to think about when my next meal is coming and if I'm eating at the right time. That's why I'm losing half my stomach. I'm hoping I'll lose interest in food and my focus will go to other more important aspects of my life.
