So it's 1 to 2 night stay? I thought everyone had a 2 night stay

I'm deffinetly a apple. The majority of my weight is in my stomach..worries me cause I'm pretty sure ill have a stomach tounge after surgery =.=

Stay away from breads? Is it really that horrible for you? Even if you eat wheat or whole grain?

Is it ok to eat sushi then? ..the only time I eat rice it with teriyaki chicken or sushi.

Well I ask because I eat sandwiches for lunch a lot and bagels for breakfast.

I watched a video and the stapler dropped some staples I wonder if they get those out or just leave them..pretty freaky that they are there for ever.

I see my new doctor next Thursday. I'm going to ask her to refer me since my insurance requires me to talk to my doctor first..really scared she will say no or laugh at me so any tips on how to go about asking? Like how I should word it..I have heard she has refered someone so I know she isn't against the idea of it but maybe she will be against it because I am young and am not a yoyo dieter..never lost weight cause when I portion I end up starving and eating all day..I just don't want to be told to try changing my diet cause my last doctor,thrapist, psychiatrist and a nut have all told me to try different things and I do it but I always end up over eating..

I was just going to post asking about this. I'm actually looking online at blenders right now. I'm thinking of getting the ninja pulse or the ninja professional...I really can't tell the difference except size and one is 80 the other is 140$ lol never had a blender so no experience at all but I hear nothing but good about ninja so that's a brand I'm sticking too just trying to figure out how much I wanna pay

its 6 months. I'm a really shy person and have social phobia so I'm scared of rejection and humiliation so normally I would avoid asking doctors for something like this but I really need help losing weight. I often over think conversations too much cause I have no clue what to say but I guess I'm going to just lay it all out on the table and hope she hears me out!

Hot tubs make everything better! You should see if there is a hot tub/spa place around...or go see a movie. When I'm nervous or angry I play video games to keep my mind off everything

I have high blood pressure as for diabetes I'm either pre or I have it, they have me on metformin but haven't been tested in over 6 months for it. They put me on those meds like a year ago but my BMI is over 40

i had two a few years ago. Never tore anything up except their stuffys but they did hide stuff under the coffee table. One loved to take showers with you and the girl loved baths. I think it's funny watching them try to drag stuff to hide...getting them box trained was hard but eventually they would climb into their cage to use the box.

Lol a piece of cheese I think a lot of people cheat sometimes. This is not a easy process to go through. I'm pre op but protein shakes deffinetly help the most when ur hungry.

I'm 5'2" 262 pounds and one site says its a BMI of 47 ...I just find it hard to believe my BMI is that high...when I look in the mirror I don't see myself that huge.

So my aunt is turning 36. She is obese but also has a lot of health issues. She had a blood clot in her leg a while back and her legs swell up SO bad all the time like she can't wear regular boots that cover her calf she has to cut the backs.. I'm super worried I'm going to lose her cause she can only do yoga for like 15 mins...I think surgery would be great for her but she thinks surgery is a last resort for anyone I mean doesn't she care to be able to do things with her 8 year old son? Isn't she sick of only being able to do so little I mean when I'm there I have to do all the lifting and I'm fat too lol..it just sucks cause she is the only positive/motherly family member I have. I look up to her..without her I would be lost and it sucks to see her in such horrible shape..I hope she chooses to do something before its too late. I wish I could tell her but I know she feels bad about her weight every time shoes don't fit her or when she can't find cute things in her size..I don't want to make her feel any worse and I already know where she stands on surgery when I told her I was looking into it...maybe if I do it and show her how great this tool is she will come around ..idk I'm just venting..

I knew it was the surgery! Because its not my bf who is worried its me who is worried I will feel too hot for him...I can't imagine myself with anyone else or accepting my baggage but I know so many people who have lost weight and it changed them..fame,money does it too.
