Hello everyone my name is Stacy I have had a gastric sleeve done at West Lake hospital in Chicago Ill. I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia and a pinched nerve in my shoulder i weighed 285 lbs. back then and my feet and legs would swell horribly. So my doctor told me to get this surery done due to all the meds I was on I was gaining a massive amount of weight and swelling bad it made it hard to walk, so I had my surgery on Aug. 9th 2012 I wasn't in any pain afterwards wat so ever I saw some weight loss about 2 months after surgery and now I have currently lost about 95 lbs. I still can't eat a lot any bread, rice, potatoes things like that I can not eat yet. So it's still hard for me to eat any meal without getting sick to my stomach hopefully it will stop soon and ill be able to eat normally. I don't regret my surgery at all because at least now I'm able to walk without swelling. :)
