My feet used to swell before and now they have gone down significantly. I am loving the fact that I can wear just about any type of cute heel for hours without being miserable.

My progress has been pretty slow as well! I started working out consistently in January and I am happy to say that I finally made it to onederland. I am also about 30 pounds from where I want to be, but the scale is finally starting to move again with working out and cutting carbs. I am also going to try having Protein shakes again in the morning for Breakfast to give myself a better boost. Good luck!

As of my 3 month post-op appointment, I am down 45 pounds!! However, I really do need to start being more consistent with working out.

That is something I did not expect, but my ankles and feet are smaller now and I am loving the extra shoe options that I can now wear! Thanks everyone

I'm 29, newly single and newly sleeved in South Louisiana as of May 27th! My fiance' passed away last summer and I haven't dated anyone since. I'm down 26 pounds so far. I still have quite a ways to go, but I'm looking forward to the possibilities this journey presents. I guess the cliche' dinner dates will be quite different as I've already had to explain to a couple of colleagues over lunch the reason I couldn't finish my food. So far, everyone has been very positive and supportive (at least to my face LOL)!

I am sorry for your loss! My fiance' passed away last year also and I've had to deal with many people watching and judging my every move also. I decided to get sleeved for myself and there is nothing easy about this journey. Some of my friends think my decision was crazy, but they have not walked a mile in my shoes! Most people who judge and gossip do so the pacify their own insecurities. My only dislike so far, is that I don't feel like I can quinch my thirst anymore.
