I just gave it time and I started zofran which helped a lot. I was puking everything too. It does get better.

I finally was able to drink and keep down some ice cold water!! It may not seem like much to some but since I came out of surgery 5/22 everytime I try water I puked. So I worked up the courage to try it again and it was wonderful and it didn't come back up!! Whoo hoo!!!

I'm doing OK and I agree about the drain tube. My daughter and my dog just about took it out for me today so that was a bit of a scare. As far as food goes I'm just trying to get as much in as possible. I haven't been able to stomach the protein shakes yet. I'm gonna try tomorrow. On a positive note I have lost 16lbs since last Monday! Keep me posted on how you are doing!

Today is my big day!! Good Luck to all fellow May 22nd sleevers!! My biggest complaint is nerves and this terrible taste in my mouth. Idk if its from the antibiotics or the protein shakes or what but its awful. But other than that I'm great!! HW 315 CW and SW 294

Hi Everyone! I'm Sarah and I'm being sleeved on the 22nd!!! And I'm like most other people been heavy my whole life but it really skyrocketed when I got pregnant with my first son who is now 10. I gained 100lbs with that pregnancy and I was sure I would be having a 70lbs baby lol. Needless to say he wasn't. So I lost like 30-40 of that and then got pregnant again and I was doing great at keeping the weight gain minimal until they found a tumor in my spinal cord. So I had to have major surgery at 5 months pregnant and then had to learn to walk again and so then the weight piled on again. I was around 275 when I gave birth the second time. Then for the next 7 years I lost and gain the same 50lbs over and over again. We then decided to have one more baby and I wanted to be done having babies at the age of 30. I was 20 with my first one. So at 29 I gave birth to a beautiful baby girl on 11-11-11 at that so she has a unique birthrate. But I gained around 30lbs and was right around 315-320 when I had her. So now I'm done having kids and I'm doing something for myself. I am currently 31yrs old, 5'3", and 300lbs. I can't wait to start losing and getting the old me back!! I am setting 25lb goals. I think they might be easier to achieve but ultimately I would like to be around 150-145. Good luck to everyone!!!

I will finally be submitted on Monday! I hope my insurance is speedy about approving me.

Hey everyone! I'm new and pre surgery but I thought I'd introduce myself. I have been overweight for pretty much all of my life the highest weight being around 320. I have 3 kids and I gained with every pregnancy and never lost the weight. So I am done having kids and I'm ready to get healthy and thin! I am done with my 6 month pcp and nutritionist appts this month spam ready to get sleeved ASAP!!

Congrats! I started in October to and I will be finishing up my insurance requirements tomorrow. Good Luck!
