how long after my gastric sleeve surgery will I be able to eat solid food?

I was told post op week 7, we should be able to eat 1/2 cup of real food. I'm 3 days post op and feel the same way. My stomach (pouch) turns when I smell food. I'm doing good getting the protein shakes down. -
That's great! It was so exciting when I got approved I did the happy dance. I just had my surgery March 19 and am doing the full liquids now.
