Originally had a lap-band on February 25, 2010. On the day of my surgery, I weighed 219. My highest weight was 255. I managed to lose an additional 54 pounds after banding. All of a sudden, I started having port pain and random abdominal pains. After numerous endoscopies and a surgeon switch, I was informed that I had a hiatal hernia at the site of my band. Hence, the reason why adjustments were unbearable and painful. Had a my lap-band removal with revision to sleeve and hiatal hernia repair on March 14, 2013.
