Surgery planned for June but was wanting to get moving and get started walking some. I know everyone has a different opinion but just wondering what is the best walking shoe??

Should have a June surgery date soon. Met with dietician last week-blood work today-psych appt on Wed,4/3.. Mandatory Nutrition class scheduled for 5/16. Excited to finally getting the ball rolling!!! -

What's been the toughest part of your journey to the new you?

Is there anyone on herr that regrets having the sleeve or if they could go back in time, would not have it done? Just curious really. I am opting for sleeve & just wanting to have all info--- the good, the bad & the ugly. I have recently loaded 'Sleeved Life' ebook but haven't started it yet. Met with surgeon early in month Appt for psych eval & mtg with dietician next week... So on my way to a sleeved life!!

You could 'What if...' about anything. Not to sound pessimistic but you dont have to have surgery for a medical emergency to occur. I would plan on cruising and CELEBRATING life after your surgery. Go on that cruise living your dream not planning it! Best of luck in whatever decision YOU choose! -

I met with dr last month... Decided on sleeve. Now moving forward with pre-op dietician and mental health consults. Feeling a wave of emotions... Excited, scared, fearful,terrified, happy... You name it, I'm feeling it Ins only requiring letter of medical necessity. My BMI IS 50.5 ... Family history of diabetes, cancer, heart problems... So don't think that will be an issue.
