I'm using Bariatric Advantage Vanilla. Not too bad

Day 2 Down. 8 more to go!! Doing pretty good. Not hungry at all -- in fact, only able to get 2 Protein Snacks in today.

Day one complete!! Only 9 more pre-op to go!!

Able to shop & find something that fits in a dept store that isn't a Women's ext size store or has a W after the number. Able to get on an amusement park ride with my kid without the fear of not fitting

Day one of Pre-op diet begun..... Here we go!!

Had final mtg with surgeon before surgery -- scheduled for June 6. Was able to cut 4 days off liquid diet (10 days instead of 14...WHOOP WHOOP!) because I lost some weight since my first dr's visit... The countdown has begun!!! 15 days!!!

Not sure specifically what date ... But JUNE is the month!!! Yay!! Anyone else have a June date?

June 6

June 6 is my surgery date as well. I plan on taking the following week off and returning to work on Monday, June 18-- thankfully I have an office job so shouldn't be a problem. I start my pre surgery liquid diet this upcoming Thursday & know its going to be tough but just telling myself that it's only for 2 weeks before & of course 2 weeks after... I can do anything for 4 weeks (I hope!! GULP). I am having some anxiety about the entire thing. I have never had surgery before so this is all foreign ground for me. But I know that this is what I need to do. Best to luck to you in the upcoming weeks!!

Wow!! Looks like we are all early June-ers!!! All right ladies, just a little over 6 weeks to go!!! As excited as I am, I have to admit that I am very nervous about this. I know that this is the right decision for me & this is what I have to do. But still nervous. Never had surgery before so def anxious about that. Positive thoughts and prayers for all on this journey to life!!

Breakfast food idea Mix Egg beaters & 1 egg Turkey sausage Onion Any other veggies and or small amount of cheese (i like Spinach & a touch of mozzarella) Pour mixture into small muffin pan cups (3/4 full) Cook at 350 for 30 mins Makes 12 small breakfast cups... Bag 1 or 2 in ziploc bags and refrigerate. Pop in microwave in AM for 30 sec and you're ready to go for the week

I just can not eat yogurt. I have tried various flavors and brands... Its def a texture thing with me. Can't stand sour cream or cottage cheese either. Anyone have any good alternatives???
