    I travel a lot for work. I am two years out now. I had a trip planned for 3 weeks post op. It went fine. The surgery went well and I felt good. It is about making sure you plan ahead, have the right protein drinks and food available. I have more trouble now then right after surgery as I can eat a lot more and cheating during long business meetings when they have lots of breaks and unhealthy food sitting around. Good luck

    I also want my arms done. Same boat 47yrs old and they are not going to bounce back, Doesn't help that all the styles these days are sleeveless. How noticeable are the scars under the arm?

    I'm glad to see this post as am am 1.5 years out and having a similar problem. Easier to get drunk on just a few drinks and then my ability to stop when I have had enough is just gone. Am starting 2015 with a goal to stop and get back on the weight loss plan. 25lbs to go

    I didn't tell my parents. They only saw me 5 months later. I was pleasantly surprised at how supportive they were.

    I had Gerd and a hiatal hernia. Decided to go with sleeve anyway. Have not had 1 day or problem with acid reflux since surgery. Go with what you think best.

    I am 6 weeks out today. Down 31lbs. 19lbs since surgery. But in the last couple of days, I am hungry - alot. I was not hungry before the surgey. Probably due to eating more than I should have. But I thought we were supposed to have less hunger? This is driving me crazy. Has anyone else had this issue?

    I am on solids and always have Protien first. Not having much else to be honest. But I will look into the Zantac issue. I am taking that, just stopped taking Nexium. Maybe that has something to do with it

    Go online and check out Lands end. Get a tankini with swim shorts and a nice rash guard. Covers and protects from sun. And cute

    I am 4 days post op and have had almost no issues or pain from surgery. I do have a terrible unrelenting headache. Nothing seems to help from morphing, panadol to Celebrex. Then a tramadol. Any recommendation Could it be lack of vitamin or protein? I am getting plenty of water

Do not want to leave my 7 year old without a mother Preparing to feel regret and then to get over it in a few weeks Found out today I have a hiatal hernia do they will take care of that too but warned me I may have GERD and offered to do gastric bypass instead Not what you want to hear 12 hours before

    I am a single mother of a 7 yr old. Scheduled for May 7. Do not want to tell my parents as they will be against it. My mother had a bad experience with gastric bypass over 20 years ago. I also live in another country. So am hoping all goes well. It is great to see others post op and doing well . I am determined to do this so I am around a long time for my son. And can do more things with him over the years to come

    Has anyone had to get checked for ulcers, my Dr said if he finds anything he will recommend gastric bypass instead of sleeve

    He basically said if you have GERD before a sleeve it will only get worse and there is little that can be done. Seemed odd to Me many people take meds for it and if you are careful should be manageable
