  1. I have total belief in you. You definately can do it..Just keep telling yourself that you did not go thru all of this for nothing. It is hard I know but you got to push yourself so hard. I am here if you need that motivation. I have to keep reminding myself that it will be hard the first time I do something but it will get better later. I was just diagnose with fibroid tumors this morning, so now this is another set back that I will have to deal with but nothing is going to stop me. I've come to far. On a lighter side, now I see why can't lose my stomach as fast as I am losing everything else, but it is all good. This to will pass..thats a promise..
  2. Hi Everyone, I was sleeved 03/19 & it was the best thing I ever did for my self. Start weight was 267, now I am at 227, so thats 40 lbs so far. I feel great, I joined the walking club at my job, go to the gym on a regular, I was finally able to pull out my lawn mower & do my own grass without feeling tired, ok well a little tired. I am totally looking forward to getting to my goal weight, this has definately been a struggle but it is well worth it.
  3. YES....you can tell a difference..I totally agree with what everyone is saying. Slow will definately win the race, I hit my stall a week or two ago, then I went back & changed a few things like my workout, my eating habits, I absolutely LOVE ORANGE JUICE...I had to push away from that sugar & it worked. You are going to have many of stall weeks, stay focus & do your thang...You look great, the faster it falls the chances are the skin will hang so you don't want it to fall fast at all. I am now losing 2 pounds a week & I love it. Keep your head up...
  4. You don't won't your weight to fall any faster than it already is, there is jeopardy of skin hanging the faster it falls off, so just keep doing what you are doing which is great.

Biggest regrets about getting the sleeve?

Yes, It definately gets better in time. Thank God I don't miss the things I use to eat. Eating out is a waste of money, If I buy something out & actually sit down to eat it, my stomach will not allow me to eat it, I might can take 3 small bite & I am done, then it goes in the garbage.

Totally no regrets, I would do it over again if I had to.
  7. Gotta go to my first post-op appt today finally. I hope my Dr do something about this acid reflux. This is sooo uncomfortable.
  8. You need to see your Doctor asap...Point Blank...Do not hesistate & don't let them tell you that you are ok..
  9. Hey everyone, I haven't been on here in a while. I have been reading & I am glad everyone is improving in life & doing GREAT!!!! I am so proud of everyone & myself included. It was a hard first week but it is coming along real good. My acid reflux is still giving me the flux...It still hurt like crazy to eat & drink especially when the food & liquid sits in the middle of my chest & don't move. But, I am going keep doing what I am doing because it got to be a solution for this. I have lost 30 pound & feeling great...Very energize & I love it.. I am soooo happy I did this surgery. It is life changer, I am looking forward to the day ahead of losing more weight. Other than the incisions itching & the acid reflux I have no complaints at all..Good Luck to everyone...

  11. I hate the Protein Drinks so my nutritionist told me that I can have every night a small chicken breast(baked, boiled, rotisserie) & veggies only (no peas, carrots, corn) this help alot.
