I just started soft foods this week. I had surgery on the 12th of march. Do you think you started soft foods to quickly? For me if I don't get enough protein in I get very tired and cranky. So I understand never feeling hungry but you have to otherwise you will feel down and crappy. Protein in first.

Just started soft foods. It's been a new experience. I am enjoying it. I am down 32 lbs so far. Almost half way to my goal. I, like everyone else, I hope have the struggle with getting the fluids in along with protein.

I think that you stick to the course. It hasn't been 3 weeks for me and the weight isn't coming off as it did before. I start soft foods next week and I am ready. I don't quite get in everything I should but I try. Remember keep your head up and stay the course, you can do it and when you're ready exercise a little. It's a lifestyle change. We all have different reasons to have surgery, mine was I wanted to see my children graduate and get married something my father couldn't do because he died young. I hold into that everyday as my primary goal to continue with what I started almost 5 weeks ago. It's a challenge that I won't fail myself this time. Stay positive it will happen.

I am still on liquid and its difficult because everyone else is eating. Can't graduate for another week. My surgeon has me in 3 weeks liquid and I am not tempted to hurt myself yet and I am scared. But I will make it. Down 25 lbs since pre op diet. 15 of it after surgery.

Thanks. I will make it. I am sure it gets easier. My wife had it 3 years ago and she is going to do the soft foods with me.
