I'm almost two weeks out and for the last 4 days I've been experiencing mild pain in my left abdomen. This morning I just noticed that I have kind of been constipated - could this be the reason? Should I worry about the possibility of having leakage? Apologies if there's already an existing post on this. Lina

I'm one month out and recently started eating solids. I noticed though that once I feel full, which is usually after exactly three tiny spoons, I get a severe headache and my heart keeps pacing. Anyone experienced the same thing?

I was just sleeved Tuesday last week and noticed the other day that both my outer thighs are numb. There's no pain or anything but just a tingly feeling. Called the doc and he said it had nothing to do with the surgery and it's probably caused by the way I was positioned on the table. I'm still kind of worried though. Any thoughts/previous experience on this? Apologies if there's already an existing thread in this.

Tell me more. How long ago was your surgery done?

I got it April 2. I've been on a liquid diet since then and I have about a week and a half to go until I move to soft foods. Who was your doctor?

Forgot to add that they also had my gallbladder taken out during the surgery.

Just got sleeved three days ago and had my gallbladder removed during the same surgery. So tired of sleeping on my back. Would it do any harm if I slept on my side?

I'm three days post op and it's been very very difficult for me to drink anything at all. For the last 2 days I was only able to drink a 250ml cup of water in total. This morning I was able to finish an entire juice box in about an hour. Is this too much? Could my stomach start leaking?

Thanks a lot for the message. It's getting really tiring sleeping on my back but I also feel that I'm being paranoid about lots of things. For example, I've been coughing a lot and im trying to get myself to stop coz I'm too scared it would do something to my sleeve. I think if I keep calling my doc about every single issue I'm worried about he'll hate me very soon.

Surgery is in less than 20 hours. I've never been so scared.

Wow - I would give anything really to even lose 20 pounds!! I'm not setting my standards low but seeing a difference in my clothes or scale would make me the happiest person ever. It's been ages since I felt comfortable in my own skin. Actually, I don't even remember if I ever felt that. I am ready for the surgery - I know I'm doing the right thing for myself and I know it will probably be the best thing I ever do for ME! I wish I can just relax a little and only focus on the positive that I do acknowledge deep down inside. You really are an inspiration too and thank you so much for the message

I planned to get sleeved about two years ago and then I chickened out coz of my anxiety issues! Despite how nervous I am right now, the thought of chickening out again hasn't crossed my mind at all - so that's a good sign, no?

I think I might just do that. I really want time to pass fast - I want to get it over and done with. The wait is horrible. I know I sound like a complainer - but I really am not. Thanks for the message!

I know I know - I know I'm doing the right thing. Honestly, it's my first time to do surgery and I just don't know what to expect. I'm ridiculously worried about anesthesia - Lots of people have told me that it's just like a really quick nap but the idea is just getting me really really nervous and sick now. Thank you so much for your support and prayers. I hope it goes well and I hope my anxiety doesn't push me to make a scene as they prep me for surgery!

I was told I needed to remove all metal jewelry before my surgery so I replaced my tragus piercing with a plastic one. I think the piercing got irritated and I developed a really red bump next to it. You think this could have any effect on my surgery?

My piercer.. I got it pierced in Paris. In Dubai, tattoo and piercing parlors are illegal. I'll try out the salt/water again though! Thanks for the advice and I really hope it doesn't change my surgery plans!

I tried the salt and water soaks before but they never worked. Maybe I was doing them wrong..

I am so tempted to call them now but it's almost 1:00 am here!! I already cleaned it and put some antibiotic. I really hope it isn't an issue!
