I was not always heavy. I have however, always blamed my driver's license for my weight gain. Before that license if I wanted something, I walked to get it. But after, lazy, lazy, lazy. Weight became a huge struggle after having my children. I did all the diets, phen pehn, Nutri System, Jenny Craig, Weight Watcher's. You name it I did it! I would lose around 50 lbs and then get the worst pain like I was starving. Looking at myself, clearly this wasn't true. I saw a Dr Oz episode where he talked about the exact problem I was having and that a lot of people go through it. So I then started looking into my gastric options. Lap Band was out, I have to much to lose however, bi pass was never an option for me. I'm not fond of the rerouting. So sleeve it is. I'm now 6 days out. Feeling better everyday, although the heartburn feeling is not fun. So we will go from here and see what this journey brings.
