  1. Thanks! I know it's going to pick up. My losing has been rather slow. I was hoping to be at 150 before my one year mark. But I'm super happy with my progress overall and where I've come from. It's definitely been a journey that I am thankful for. Just ready to get moving!
  2. I think that's my issue too. Some days I feel like I'm starving and then feel like I eat too much. I've been struggling with losing anything lately and it's kind of depressing. My SW was 232, CW is 166, GW is 132. I was sleeved on 2/11/13. I've been between 164 and 170 since November. Just up and down with the same 6 pounds. I ended up having to have a hysterectomy on 12/11/13 and my doctor hasn't released me to exercise yet and I know that us probably the only thing that is going to get me losing. I also started drinking coffee and fat free creamer and stevia again. Not sure if that's my problem too!
  3. Hello fellow February babies! I am very proud of everyone in this thread, it is very inspiring to read. I haven't been motivated to work out at all. I know I have to, but I can't seem to get moving. Dec 11,2013 I had a robotic assisted hysterectomy. I can't do anything for two weeks now expect walking. I was told to do weight training to tone loose skin? Anyone have some exercises that worked for that? At least I can get the equipment ready while I'm down for 2 weeks. My weight loss is super slow. I seem to be playing with the same 5 pounds. I think only exercise will boost it again. I also find it strange I keep the weight the same but my body is changing in size. I'm in size 8 and some 10. Same as my sister who wears the same size as me but weighs 140?? I'm big boned. She is not. Any advice on kicking it back up to loose? SW: 232 CW: 169 GW: 135 Many blessings to all!
  4. TES, I am also Hypothyroid. I had Graves Disease and had a complete Thyroidectomy two years ago and have been Hypo since. I wonder if that is why i lose slow too?
  5. Just joined this great site today! I am searching for some answers and hope someone that has had the same experience can help me. I had surgery 2/11/13! Whoop Whoop! And have lost 23 pounds so far. I lose slower than most too and I think I retain a lot of Water. But, last Friday I was down 26 pounds, then come Sunday I showed to gain 4 pounds! Then Monday I lost 3 of those 4 and then this morning I gained 2 back! UGH! What is the deal? Is this normal? Up and down? I don't think I am consuming enough liquids so I starting really pushing my water and nectar mix yesterday to get closer to 64oz a day. I am just getting discouraged because I don't really know what I am doing wrong? Maybe not eating enough calories? Right now I have consumed 711 calories for the day and 65 g Protein, so far.I still have dinner to go, so hoepfully I can get some more calories in. I just feel lost I guess. Any wisdom from anyone here is greatly accepted! Thank you all!
