    Just beginning - so confused.

    Hey guys it works. U will lose the weight. U just got to keep it off. This surg is the best thing I ever did. I used to self sabatoge myself all the time. Not any more. Now I am looking good and so happy. My relationship with food has totally changed. Urs will have to too. U will lose ur weight and u will look soo good strangers off the street will tell u how good u look. Men will want u women will want to be u. It is insane. My 15 yr old daughters guy friends tell her how hot her mom is. At first ur not used to it. Then u hear it everywhere u go. Then it just gets old. Heres the deal this surg works. I lost 100 lbs in 8 months I have maintained my weight for 5 months. Doing good. U can do it too.

    R u eating really slow? If I eat too fast or take too big of a bite I will puke. Or if its been a long time since I ate I will then eat too fast and get sick. I try to eat every couple hours. Just a little bit of food. Anything fried, spicy, cake all that makes me puke. I can only eat healthy foods. I am also lactose intolerent now too.
  4. U can gain it back. But if u count calories using my fitness pal or some way to record what u eat u will be ok. Some days u want to eat more. Some days u have to make urself eat. I have no hunger or very little. I am 9 months out lost 93 lbs. I am in maintenance now. Eating about 1000 cal a day. Still working out. If u eat too much u will puke. If I eat sweets I will get sick one way or another. If I eat fried foods I will too. It forces u to eat healthy. U cant snack or u will gain. U will find what we call slider foods. That slide right thru and u dont get full. Stay away from them. Dont slip into old habits. I just eat very small portions just little snacks and get satisfied. Good luck. U will figure it out as u go.

    Regrets?

    At first u feel nauseous and ur in some pain. But it is so worth it. I am 9 months out and 93 lbs down. I would do it all over again in a second. It has been the best thing I have ever done. From 2x scrubs to mediums too big. I wear medium t shirts from xxl. Size 10 jeans from 22. Stick with it. Follow ur drs plan and u will see results. Each day u feel better. Hang in there.
  6. I am 7 months out. I have lost 81 lbs. I eat 600 cal a day and workout. I am barely losing 1 to 2 lbs a week. I t def gets harder to lose the further out u get. Good luck to u.
  7. My advice would be go buy yourself something nice. Something that can make u feel better without eating. Maybe a bracelet. Or a new pair of jeans.

    I cant believe how much better the sex is. I am down 64 lbs now. I can feel him so much better. I can move all different ways. I am more confident. Before I just took my pants off. Now I do a strip down for him. He just enjoys it all. We r so much happier. Just my attitude has made a big difference. I love it now and want it all the time. He likes that. Just be confident and enjoy urself!

    Hi. I confess that it pissses me off that I cant cheat or I will puke it up. I confess that it sucks to never have a soda again for the rest of my life. But I am sticking to it. I confess that every since I started working more hours at my job I havent been working out anymore. I confess that I eat 6-10 chips everyday for lunch. My guilty pleasure. I confess that I dont miss my old life of overeating and being overweight and depressed. I confess that I like eating less and losing weight. I confess that I sometimes use a straw and chew gum every day. I confess that I love going clothes shopping at used clothing stores and hunting for bargins. I confess that I love my new life!
  10. I am 5 months out. Down 64 lbs. No complications. No problems. But I do throw up alot. It seems like I can only eat fresh foods or lean cusine meals. Or protein bars. Other foods are too greasy or fattening and make me get sick. Like fried chk no go. Meatloaf no go. But I do ok. I am happy. I like eating less and losing weight. I went from size 22 to size 14. Size 2xl scrubs to size large. And I am not done yet! 62 lbs to go. I would do it all over again in a sec. I am very happy with my sleeve.

    Help! 4 month Plateau !

    When I was 4 months out I hit a stall that lasted 3 weeks. I kinda freaked out too. I was afraid that was all I was going to lose. But I just kept doing what I was doing and it passed. Now I am cloe to 5 months out and have lost another 7 lbs since then. I was eating 800 cal and I upped my cal to 1000. Of course with my workouts I am only taking in like 600 to 800 . Just hang in there. It will pass.
  12. My experience has been very good. I have puked several times, but other than that I am doing amazing. I love my sleeve. I just wish I would have done it sooner. I am down about 63 lbs and have 62 to go. Close to 5 months out. Very pleased with everything.
  13. I am close to 5 months out. For breakfast I eat 1 egg 2 pieces of bacon For morning snack I eat a protein bar For lunch I eat 1/2 a lean cusine meal For pm snack I eat a cheese stick For dinner I eat very small portions of what I cook for my family. I usually just eat the meat and veggies. This is around 1000 cal a day. I started eating 600 cal then moved up to 800 when I stopped losing then just moved up to 1000. For exercise I walk and do yoga.
  14. I am 4 months out and I love my sleeve. I like eating less. And losing weight. I will never go back to how I ate before. There is just no way. I like eating healthy foods. I eat very small portions. Protein first. U gotta eat a lot of protein. I love it though. I love my new life. I eat a 1/2 of a lean cuisine for lunch. Then eat the other 1/2 the next day for lunch that is my luxury meal. At night I eat mostly protein. At breakfast I eat 1 egg and 2 pieces of bacon. Again all protein. For a snack I have a protein bar. I love my new life. It is wonderful. I went from size 2X scrubs to large. And skin tight 22 jeans to very loose 16 s I can't wait to wear size 12. This has been a dream come true for me. All my life I have been overweight and I have always wanted to be skinny. I could never do it by myself. I was always starving. No I have no to very little hunger. I could not be happier with this surgery. I have lost 58 lbs so far. Just came out of a 3 week long stall. Those are not very fun. But they happen. U just gotta wait and they will pass. I am losing again now. I walk and do yoga. I really hope u get the surgery. It has made my life so wonderful! My husband is all over me. He always loved me before but is very handsy now that I have lost weight. Good luck.
  15. My starting weight was 265. My current weight is 206.6. I am 4 months out. Love my sleeve. Best thing I ever did for myself!!!
