Racheepoo99 replied to extracat's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A

It will pass u just have to wait it out. Before this stall I lost almost every day. About 3 lbs a week. Every week. Keep doing what ur doing it will happen. I went from 2X scrubs to large. From tight 22 to 16. Ready for more charges just gotta wait out this stall. -
1 1/2 years out... any questions
Racheepoo99 replied to SkinnyOnMe's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I am 4 months out and have lost 56 lbs. very happy with my weight loss so far. But I have been in a stall for a couple of weeks. I am so afraid this is all I am gonna lose. Did u have stalls that lasted this long? What did u do to break them? I have tried everything. I know u just gotta wait it out. -
U did the right thing by leaving. I have never looked at my husband and couldn't stand him. I love being around him all the time and never get sick of him. When ur with the right one u will just know and there will be no question about it. Good luck to u. U will love ur sleeve and ur new life. Find a good career to support urself and a man will come along eventually.

My husband suggested the sleeve to me after he saw a guy at his work become very thin with it. At first I was very hurt. After researching it I really wanted to do it for myself. My hubby is in tip top shape. I never was. Now I am 4 months out lost 56 lbs and doing great. Feeling better. Much more confidence. He is very happy with my new looks. All over me all the time. Very supportive. Before he suggested the surgery our marriage was getting rocky he was telling me I need to lose weight. Now we r more solid than ever. I saw some pics of me from before the surg and can't believe how big I was. I was in complete denial about my weight. I feel like this surg saved my life and saved my marriage. All my life I have been fat and all I have ever wanted is to be skinny. Now I am slowly getting there. I am just so happy. I like eating less. I just couldn't do it on my own. This surg has been so wonderful for me.

My surgery was 5-22-13. I have lost 56 lbs since surgery. 68 lbs till goal. Have been in a stall for a couple of weeks now. Trying to break thru it and still keep my head up. I am happy with my results but don't like the stalls. -

I take it. It is huge. I also take garlic oil extract it prevents hair shedding. I am now losing half as much hair as I was. But I would ask ur dr. I think it may depend on how big ur sleeve is and ur bougie size. Mine was a bigger size. U don't want to get anything stuck.

EPIC FAIL ON THE PRE-OP DIET!
Racheepoo99 replied to READY4CHANGE2013's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
I cheated on the pre op diet too, I was fine.back then I had no control over food and zero will power. I was in complete denial. I wouldn't suggest u keep doing it. It could cause complications. I have done great with my sleeve. I might have had a small bite of cupcake at a party once but I puked and haven't cheated since. I eat protein first then veggies. I am very happy. I have lost 51.6 lbs in 3 months. I don't want that kind of stuff anymore. I just like clean eating. I have changed. My family ate pizza today. One of my old favorites. Didn't even bother me. I ate steak and veggies. I love my new life. My old life was gross to me now. Good luck to u on ur new life! -
I feel for u! My mother in law is a total witch to me too! I feel so bad for u! Find a new group she doesn't know about. Quit talking to her when she calls only talk to her about the weather. Don't give her any ammo to use against u. Cut her outta ur life. That's what I did and I am much happier. Good luck to u and ur weight loss.

Its been two years since I logged on almost 3 years out Before and Afters
Racheepoo99 replied to JennChap's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Wow! U look amazing! I can only pray I look half as good as you! -
Never. I heard of a girl that ruined her new stomach because she drank soda. It's horrible stuff. Stay away from it. Someone should have told u before the surgery that u were gonna have to give that up for life. That and beer or anything with carbonation in it. Get u some flavoring for ur water like mio or try some g2 Gatorade. Good luck.

I took 12 days off. I am a dental asst. I run around like a nut all day. Clean rooms, do instruments, sit and assist the dr, make phone calls, schedule pts, do all kinds of stuff but no lifting. I did fine. Was tired at the end of the day but was fine.

smoking cigarettes 2 weeks post op? thoughts?
Racheepoo99 replied to miss_lalaaa's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I work in a dentist office. I have seen people lose their teeth. Have gum disease. Have part of their jaw taken out. All because of smoking. It smells so bad. Please please I beg u don't start again. Every day without it ur lungs start to heal. Stop for urself. Stop for ur children. Stop for ur grandchildren. Please I beg u. U chose this operation because u chose life. Choosing cigarettes is choosing death! -
Hubby Doesnt Like Me Now
Racheepoo99 replied to hollyr's topic in Weight Loss Surgery Success Stories
Listen to this u r a princess and u deserve to be treated like one if u haven't met ur Prince Charming to marry u and sweep u off ur feet and make u a queen drop his ass. He's just preventing u from meeting ur king. My husband loves me and practically worships me. He would do anything for me. He is my rock. I have told this speech many times to many girls. Don't waste ur time with these losers God has made the perfect match for u out there somewhere and the more time u spend with losers the more time ur delaying true bliss from being with ur king! -

Ever fear losing to much weight?
Racheepoo99 replied to mrdr's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I can only dream of having this problem! Being overweight since the age of 12 when my parents got divorced. My doctor told me u really can't get too thin. That the weight loss will stop and balance out. -
Ice cream?
Racheepoo99 replied to shelbyschroepfer's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
U could try some frozen Greek yogurt. In the freezers section of the groc store. I tried some once and was fine but I only ate like a tablespoon of it. -
Why oh why did I do this to myself?
Racheepoo99 replied to marfar7's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Hang in there u guys it's gets better every day. I had my surgery 5-22-13 I feel great now. I can eat anything. I have lots of energy. I workout. I love my sleeve. I am loosing weight every day. I have lost 35 lbs. it's hard right at first but once u can have soft foods ur fine. I went back to work after 12 days and have felt fine since then. I did go to bed early those first weeks back to work. I am so happy with my sleeve. I would do it over again in a heartbeat. I could never lose any weight before now I lose everyday almost. I don't really eat very much I stay within 600-800 cal a day get all my water in and get 60-80 protein in. Haven't lost any hair yet but that usually comes in 3 months out. No loose skin. Been lifting weights and doing toning exercises for 30 min a day. Walking, swimming, bike riding or some kind of cardio for at least 30 min a day. Still not hungry. Most days have to force myself to eat. Other days I want to eat. I usually have a premier protein bar for breakfast can't finish it. Have the rest at 11. At 12:30 have lunch which is usually a salad with ham and real crumbled bacon cheese and light dressing. 3:00 have a string cheese. Dinner is protein and veg. I would suggest u join myfitnesspal or somewhere u can log ur food where others can see it. It helps. Also join a support group. Good luck. Hope this helps. -
I am in a support group with about 250 other women and a few men they have all lost on average about 60 lbs in 3 months time. I would say u r normal with ur weight loss. But u really can't compare urself to other people, it will just drive u crazy. Some lose more some lose less. U can do everything perfect and ur body is just gonna do what it's gonna do. Be proud of urself ur doing very well. There is a girl sleeved same time as me I have done everything by the book I have lost 35 lbs she has lost 56! U really just have to focus on urself. Hope this helps.
