I am just looking for some information on the process through Aetna. Like how long they required the supervised diet and how long to get approved. I am 2 months into my journey and just looking for some uplifting hopefull news

I found out through my surgeon office. It was completely unexpected so fast! I was worried because in the past two years at one point I got down to a 30 bmi during a medically supervised diet attempt but it came back and then some. So we submitted my weight including some from 2008 just to show this has been a battle for a long time... and it worked!!!! I will have hope for you too keep me posted! !! -
Approved yesterday! !! Surgery set for the 22nd of this month!!!! Thank you lord! !!!

I am tracking down my two years of weight and I will be submitting to insurance next week. Wish me luck in 2011 I did a medically supervised diet an lost some weight and got my BMI to 30 although it did not last long I am hoping it does not affect my approval ps. my BMI is 39 and I have sleep apnea... -
